That is a good point. I am sure that with the coming TOU plans that systems like this would make sense for many people. That would be especially true if costs can come down.
Just as an aside, SCE has installed smart meters in my area. As I understand things - we all are scheduled to move to TOU plans in 2018. I expect that my electric bill will significantly rise at that time. If only I had a Tesla to draw from !

Rydell MSRP is $37495 (34295 + 3200) and Chevy girl is $38245. Without running exact lease calcs it seems similar - lower amount for a $750 less car.
Lease totals -
Rydell
$219 x 35 = $7665
tax (8%) = $613
Drive off = $3125
Total = $11403
Chevy Girl
Total $360 x 36 = $12960.

Ps - I had overlooked that 3125 included the driveoffs and first month. I thought it was only cap reduction with extra 2k in drive offs.

Yes, I will need to act quickly; however, last year the 2016 models got some steep discounts. I think even without MSDs, there will be BMW i3 deals to be had all year long.

This is looking promising since the 300 monthly barrier has been breached for the bolt. Next target is a true sub 250 deal and I know it will happen in May
