Like I said, a “deal” can be based on perception. For me, I’d give this a C, that’s my opinion - run of the mill, not bad, nothing special. If the OP is happy, that’s all that matters.
SQ5 looks like the payments have started to trend a little lower lately, I’ve seen a few deals pop up on them recently.
Yes but if that perception is based on either incorrect numbers or a unicorn deal then it’s not realistic. The 2019 X3 M40i is 12% discount on new, or 15%+ on ex-loaners/demos. We see plenty of these deals and they all benchmark around that. Whether you want to view that as average for here or good, fact is that is the current going rate.
SQ5’s were sold off a while ago and prices have gone up since then, thus why we’ve seen almost none in the last 3 months.
I need to find the deal, OP said he found it and it was $56k MSRP Demo for X3M, but that poster was almost $200 a month cheaper, that’s an A, imo - the difference between these two cars is like a driver assistance package or a different add on, they’re very close to the same thing and that user will drive his for more than $7k cheaper over the next 3 years.
I understand and fully appreciate what you’re saying about unicorns and benchmarks, but I stand by what I wrote, deal is C, run of the mill and average.
When I need a vehicle, I don’t marry any particular brand or model, I look for where I see the most value at that given time, at $700+ for an X3, personally, I see very little value. My biggest worry right now is my wife loves the Q8 and that is going to be a b***h to hack. Everyone will have a varying opinion on this, that’s just mine.
