All of these were signed in April are now finally NMAC funded.
Sales tax credit was applied to all (This is Texas only thing)
Deals required loyalty. 1 of em was genuine loyalty deal, while others were “loyalty”
They all came with free year of EVGO charging (ended in April)
Deals are at 10k year mi but we can top off for $0.10/mile.
Insurance came out around $110-$135 mo, YMMV.
Few thought on sales:
I could have improved the payment with MSDs but opted not to. It was going to be low ROI on 18 mo maturity + risk of deal funding issues etc.
Are these repeatable? short answer is yes. Long answer is … depends on your tolerance of Nissan dealer shenanigan. Most location deals with sub-prime borrower, so expect grueling experience.
For this payment range. I had infinite number of buyers lining up. I have already brokered 3 deals, and regretting it (I am their default POC on all things Nissan, NMAC, EV, EGO, etc).
Then why did I get so many? sunk cost fallacy, once I had put in leg work for my wife. It was easy to replicate. Dealers had stale inventory. I ended up getting 3 from same shop and one from competing shop. This was more out of spite to GSM. I just wanted to him bleed and regret not doing deal initially, when I agreed to add-ons…
Nissan experience gives me PTSD but my stockholm condition keeps pulling me in nissan orbit…something is wrong with me, or maybe its just the FOMO on low payment.
Kindly no DM. Please ask here in thread, so other can benefit and chime in. I still see some stale inventory in Texas, you should be able to replicate or come close to it.
Welcome to the Ariya family This deal has been reproduced many times. Final TCO will vary from state to state and individual to individual but targeting 11% off and the standard rebate stack is perfectly reasonable. You can check out the Ariya thread where we even share dealers who offer similar discounts-
Buyers lined up in hours or almost immediately upon learning payment detail.
I needed the ride to pick up my new Ariya after work hours. Better half struggles to drive during maddening DFW rush hour, so she asked within F&F and leaked the details. I felt obligated to help since they were giving the ride. It spread from there…
Makes sense, I’m in DFW as well. Good job on helping ppl out bc dealing with Nissan dealers is maddening here (I know from my Frontier and Leaf experiences lol)
You need to control your finance guy. Convince him to contact NMAC to open up sales tax credit for your deal when its not available. Persuade him to learn how to fill lease worksheet for MSD , ONE Pay…
They are like wild horse, they will kick you good unless you tame em down. Then you can saddle, leash and ride em for the deals you want
Congrats! I was talking to a dealer with a 2023 Venture + in TX. I suspect it was the same one since there weren’t many here. And as suspected it was too much work and pulling teeth. I didn’t have loyalty and gave up. Glad you were able to help some people out in getting them. There are indeed plenty of 2023s on the lot here in TX. Too bad no sales tax credit for May though.
What do you mean by “loyalty”. I don’t have a Nissan or Infiniti in my household or friends that do. Feel free to DM me if you like with what you mean. That is holding me on hunting one of these.
You can get a co-signer with a Nissan. Some manufacturers would accept household presence of a vehicle brand. You can generate insurance card with 5 target names pretty easily and claim you have a polyamory family there.
I initially negotiated Plat at around 10% off MSRP but figured I could try an even deeper discount if I took 2 of them from his lot. And it worked pretty well.
The first one was kicked back initially and they had to write me a check (voluntarily) to bump depreciation.
I asked for accessories, but they wanted me out of the dealership fast, so I did not object.
