I’ve been trying to get remotely close to this deal at my local dealership for a few weeks but they refuse to go below invoice on the pricing. It’s a 2023 Premier so I’m sure it’s been sitting on the lot a while.

  1. I already had a deal sheet I sent to the dealer. If you go and ask for a quote… it won’t work 99%. So you have to do research for your ZIP code for the current month’s incentives.
    My initial deal sheet was for Plat and it had about 10% off MSRP on it and was slightly above $300/m payment. The dealer just told me straight ahead that he could do it, but won’t move deeper with discounts. At that point, I figured maybe he would go with deeper discounts if I took 2 of them ahead of the month’s end. And they agreed.
  2. “Dealer Cash” in my spreadsheet is Nissan-to-dealer incentive that was 1k for that month for the dealer ZIP. it’s not something they can change. But if you don’t know about it - they most likely would not tell you it exists.

Thanks for the clarification! I use Edmonds forum and can get money factor an incentives, but I don’t see them mentioning dealer cash. How do you find that out?

Also on Edmonds I’m seeing a lot of $9500 nmac ev lease cash, is that right?

I leased 2 Nissans 18 months ago from a dealer that had 2x discounts more than neighbors.

Their 23 evolve plus is advertised 16% off msrp.
With 2k Ariya cash
9500 nmac cash
3100 Ariya 18 month lease cash
And loyalty $1000
Monthly note is like negative $-150

This can’t be right. Even if I take off 2k bonus I’m at $-25.

Guess we’ll see what June has in store.

I used our rate finder. Did not use Edmunds. Dealer cash can be confirmed directly with dealer. Some advertise it in the breakdown on their websites directly

My dealer had 1k. It depends on their ZIP, not yours.

Do you know if the price has to be at least $100 to get funded? Was that why it got turned down the first time?

The depreciation must be non-negative on the contract

Did you consider one pay and msds? I think 9 lowers the MF by .009 .00136 to . 00046. On the calculator it looks like you have to use them together to get to this. For me it might save me $750, and msds $100 each. $750 return on 950 investment over 18 months is a 50% annual return.

I decided not to mess around finance manager. Deals that low might be harder to fund even with normal payment schedule. Throwing in MSDs and one-pay structure keeps you in dealership longer too. I did not go for these optimisations purposefully. So to answer your question - yes I considered it, decided against it.
