Acura NSX - 2019 Lease Deals out there?

Oh awesome congrats. I guess I should make a British car reliability joke now?

Well it’s a Mercedes engine and transmission so the reliability is rock solid in theory. I think the computer is so used to problems in an Aston that it throws codes. Now that I think about it…yes a British car reliability joke is in play…:man_facepalming:t2:

Welcome to the club! Are you in the facebook group?

I’m now officially in the market, too. Unless deals pop up during the summer, I’ll likely be jumping in, in the fall or winter. I own an older NSX outright, and I have a TLX lease with 11 payments left on it, that I’d like to get out of. I’m in the beginning stages of figuring out what to do.

Easiest thing would be to take advantage of Acura’s usual lease pull-forward (3 months) next year and just lease then.

I am also considering trading in the older NSX to finance a new one, or a well equipped used 2018, in the fall. Not sure what to do with the TLX lease then…would like to get rid of it early and daily the NSX since work is only a couple miles away.

Again, just considering what to do so don’t take my “back of paper napkin” planning too seriously. Those of you who have the new NSX, enjoy.

Honda/Acura will hopefully bring back the crazy deals- was an awesome buy.

When AM say they will waive 3 vantage payments- are they referring to current lease payments on an existing lease, or payments off the new Vantage lease?

I read it as AM will pay the first 3 months

LEASE PAYMENT WAIVER ONLY APPLICABLE FOR LEASES BY APPROVED LENDER AND FOR WELL QUALIFIED LESEES. PROGRAM OFFER AVAILABLE THROUGH JULY 31, 2019. MAX COVERAGE UP TO $6000.

I’ve had no issues with my aston, other than a brake light issue that went away after a restart. 10/2018 production date.

When you say an “older” NSX are you referring to the original from the 90s? I don’t know anything about the mileage or condition of yours, but they have been gaining in value, while the new NSX doesn’t seem to be following that same trajectory.

Visited my local dealer and received this quote on a 2019 NSX. Was able to get the manager to offer up the full $20k dealer cash and an additional 3k to discount the vehicle. With a 51% residual on a 36 month / 5K a month miles / and .00285 money factor the payment is still in the $2K range. Online lease calculators show this is about right. It would take about $30k down to get the payment around $1.3 -$1.1k. How were people getting in the $1.3 payment range with 0 down?

Thanks!

Programs were totally different and people were getting much bigger discounts. Production is also lower now (I think most are custom ordered), so don’t expect those same deals.

Pretty obvious answer found by simply searching.

The MF was lower, the RV was higher, the discounts were substantially larger since they were not special order only, AND they had a $30k rebate.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown. So $7k difference in price, 5% higher residual, and half the money factor equate to $500 difference in payment.

Crazy how much that swings vs. Needing $30k down now.

Not really, it’s just math with different lease terms. Same as how you could get a $28k GMC Terrain for $80 a month a couple years ago, now it’s $280.

$80/month for a SUV? :face_with_monocle: That had to be the deal of the year!

Okay I lied, like $100…

So I actually did this on an international level. If you are truly interested, not only can I help set up, I am in on it as well.

Car is still at the dealer, they pinged me to see if I was still interested. Here’s the latest offer

MSRP: $163,000
Selling Price: $131,00
Down Payment: $20K
MF: 0.00225
Residual: 47% / $76,610
39 months with 10K miles
Base Monthly Payment: $1,409.25

Total cap reduction = $16,818.26
Total Financed = $114,776.74

Anyone familiar with Acura’s current MF and residuals on 2019s?

2019 or 2020? Edmunds says no more support on 2019s

Yes on a 2019

Acura FS no longer has lease support on 2019 NSX. Is the offer for a US Bank lease?
