2024 Genesis GV60 Standard, MSRP $54,290, 13/10k, $800 DAS, $330/mo

After reading LH for the past 6 months I was finally inspired by this topic to finally take action.

We recently closed on our new house and our credit score isn’t looking great, so MF was higher than it could be, but still was a great deal overall.

This is my attempt on the Calculator:

Great deal!
Can you share the dealer details and is this replicable?

How do you like the GV60 so far? My wife just stole mine back from me.

I think the RV for this month is 74% which means your MF wasn’t that high in order to get to your numbers.

Salesman told me he could try. They still have a couple Standard trims (1 black and 1 silver).

Took me a while to get the Sales Manager to these numbers, but eventually we agreed on 800 DAS (I was shooting only for 1st payment DAS).

PM me for contact info.

I got the car yesterday and only drove from Fayetteville to Fuquay.

The fit and finish feels great. Car is quite loaded even though it’s the base trim (damn, it even has an impressively useful heads up display!). Performance is great despite being single motor, cabin is very quiet, infotainment is fast, built in navigation works quite well.

My wife commutes to work daily so she’ll be the primary driver.

@cheapdad00 did you already requested the install of the level 2 charger from Duke?

How did it go?

Not yet, need to sort out my garage first. My charger did arrive though. I’ve heard, from a cost perspective, you are better off finding your own electrician than going with one of theirs. My situation will be a bit complicated because the main panel in the basement is only 100 Amps. That would be the shortest distance to the garage, but I don’t feel comfortable putting a 60A line from that panel. I have 2 panels outside that contain the HVAC/Ovens/etc. Tapping into there would be plenty of power but would require conduit and may violate the 6 throw rule, if that is still a thing. For now, I’m using the free EVGo chargers from my Ariya lease that are 3 miles from my house.

My panel is 200A and it’s right in my garage so I should be ok in that regard.

I’ll ask for recommendations with colleagues that had LV2 installed.

Cross referencing it in this thread . If you are in NC or close proximity from Genesis of Cary, they have one performance GV60 left and they are very very very motivated to sell it before end of the month.
DM me if you need more details.

They were doing Performances at 499 + 0 DAS.

Did they improve on that?

The other negotiating tactic is to get them to agree to that $499 price on the performance trim at one of the non-highly incentivized terms (13mth and 36mth have the best incentives), then when they show you the larger dealer discount they gave you to get to that monthly number, convince them to re-run the numbers with that dealer discount at the 13 and 36 mth terms and see if they will write the lease that way - as it will save $100-200/mth, but also run the risk of them kicking you of the dealership.

I was targeting the EV9 as my next EV, but this is surely tempting.

EV9 looks nice. What’s the range on that vehicle? After charging my GV60 on Wednesday, the vehicle said I had 360 miles of range. [Not realistic because I burned through 100 miles of range on a 70 mile HWY trip yesterday (but that was at 80MPH)].

Varies with the config. According to Google:

EV9 Kia Range for the Light RWD: 230 miles. EV9 Kia Range for the Light Long Range RWD: 304 miles. EV9 Kia Range for the Wind AWD: 280 miles.
