This seems generally like a very good deal, and have until delivery to finalize it (truck arrives in 3 weeks) I feel like there is another $500-1,000 or so for them to knock off to make it a great deal - any suggestions/recommendations?
My General Concerns:
MSD listed on the quote worksheet I have show $3,600. However based on a one pay of $5,150, and max 9 MSD … this should be $2,575 … correct?
Also, I think the money factor should be .00314, can anyone confirm if the money factor should be lower? (They only gave me a money factor net of MSD = .00224 and a separate incentive sheet that reflected a 12000 mile lease @ .00367 - so I am missing the 10000 mile lease factor)
I think there is a program guideline that says that the cap cost has to be >=$100 the residual value. Please verify this, but I remember this being an issue on my deal a week ago. If it is true, then one way to get around this guideline would be to consider increasing your annual miles to 12K or 15K. This will lower the residual value and possibly be enough to get you over the hump. You don’t want to give back any of that massive dealer discount b/c it’s phenomenal.
Right now the way your deal looks to me your residual value is: $48,585 * 0.95 = $46,155.75
However, the cap cost is: $48,585 - $3,116 (dealer discount) = $45,469
Therefore, depr charge would be: $45,469 - $46,155.75 = $-686.75
Hence, why the program guideline is in place b/c you can’t have a negative depr charge.
So either you will have to give up some of that dealer discount or increase the annual mileage to get this deal funded. Check it out and let us know.
On my deal the base MF was 0.00282 and with Max MSDs it took it down to 0.00192.
At $286 effective for a loaded Frontier Pro4X, I’d say this is a very solid deal, especially for Florida. It’s a local dealer, so no shipping or broker fee involved either .
You could try to push for another $500 off (saving you another $27 off the monthly) but I wouldn’t hesitate to sign on this at $286 effective, especially given this is loaded at nearly $49K MSRP .
