There arenât that many. Itâs a common courtesy. Idk why you would inquire for a discount that you want without being ready to pull trigger when you get it. Youâre basically just jacking the dealer around. You donât make an offer on a house you donât want to buy.
Good on you for showing the 10% though. Agree there is quite a lot of herd mentality here and donât find it that hard to believe someone could discount 10% on an m5.

Only contacted 20% from what I could tell and that wasnât even from BMWâs inventory, it was just dealers posting on AutoTrader, so take that with a grain of salt. Iâm confident if someone was dedicated enough they could easily achieve 13% if not more. There will be a dealer out there that needs to get rid of the car, for SOME reason.

Your math / understanding of the deal is not correct. 109070 (includes addons) / 121530 = 10.25%.
I donât care one way or another just pointing out that he technically does have a 10% offer.
$121,500 (approx.) - $13,000 discount = $108,500 BEFORE $750 rebate and $1,300 add-ons: 10.7% off
$1,300 add-ons = 1.07%
10.7% - 1.07% = 9.63% total discount before the $750 rebate (we always take discounts before rebates/incentives). Am I wrong? Of course the difference is almost non-existent here and he probably proved his doubters wrong.
