2023 Acura Integra

I liked the looks of the prior gen 9-5… and honestly I’d rather pay market value for a enthusiast-owned 100k miler than anything that’s been sitting for ages

Yeah not surprising that they don’t want to explicitly say their TTV6 competes with a 2.0T, but pricing reveals their real target.

This is the exact same dynamic as the E90 vs a 2007 Infiniti G (cross-shopped by mostly 328i shoppers, not 335i).

This is shaping up nicely. A smaller and sleeker TLX would be just fine by me. On the inside, I hope they rid of/reposition/reduce the size of the ridiculous drive mode knob.

I feel like peak Acura was the 3G TL. That being said I am looking forward to seeing what the integra looks like, I am sad they are not going to build a 2 door hatch as well

I’m just worried about the confusion with the “X” naming convention with all the other cars…so confusing

Don’t worry, there’s plenty of time for it to be a disappointment.

We’ve got 1 headlight and both tail lights of the car. I’m sure the other 90% of the car will look great! :upside_down_face:

I know everyone loves that version, but I personally thought the 2nd gen looked better.

Saw a 3G recently, and I was like, “You know, from the rear 3/4 angle, I’m seeing a bit of gigantic 8th Civic…” ::running and ducking::

Eh, who knows? Maybe they’ll rename the TLX “Legend.”

Again, if the price is right (and, at this point, simply having a slightly lower MSRP than the German competition would be sufficient), my expectations are not super-high, so there is not much that could disappoint me.

I’m def NOT a Honda fanboy and a few yrs away from my next car, but I think a reasonably affordable and somewhat upscale compact hatch (since no one will sell me a non-lifted hatch/wagon at a price I can easily afford) would a nice option. The current Civic is getting good reviews, and a little more sound deadening would make it just fine for me (also wouldn’t mind a slightly lower cowl than the last gen Civic). And this is pretty much the only hatch in its class, right?

We need more cars in the states, it’s becoming a sea of crossovers and trucks.

Even the former standard-bearers for euro bodystyles like VW and BMW have abandoned them.

I need to look at a 3G more closely, I know I am biased because I had a 3G type S with a 6 speed that a still regret selling.

I am still a honda fanboy at heart, and would get one of the newer Civic Type Rs in a heartbeat so I know I have a biased opinion.

I echo your thoughts on wishing affordable wagons were still a thing, I was a big fan of the TSX wagon

Will always have a special bias towards Acura. My dad still owns his 90 Legend with a 5 spd. He ordered it new and ended up buying out the lease. Its at 180k and no check engine light and AC still works.

I didn’t either…

Too much like a Civic

More pictures…not sure if rendering or actual production model

Those are definitely renderings, and not even from Acura considering the article says it’s still unknown if a 2 door version will even be offered.

I’m so manual smitten right now, I think I can live with that, haha.

On a side note, I love that the video montage of manuals through the generations included an RSX Type S like mine!

One can only hope that the Acura design dept is as good as their marketing dept…
