I specifically meant doing it without that, it was a point of pride for me when I was able to do that lol. With hill start assist no one should have an excuse.
Camaro LT1 is a very, very easy setup to learn with. Just let off the clutch slow when starting out and don’t even touch the gas pedal, it’s got more than enough torque to get motivated on its own.
Then try it on a late 90’s Civic Si with a Stage 4 clutch that needs to be revved to about 5k while you’re slipping the clutch to keep it from stalling
Use hand break, easy
It’s really difficult and painful to drive stick when your hand is broken. Ask me how I know.
Works like a charm if you don’t break it.
Personally if I didn’t know how to drive stick, I’d find a friend or get someone from the dealer to help you get it home. I promise I wouldn’t do any burn outs…
Can’t remotely get any dealers in the Seattle region to do this deal.
And yes, I’ve driven stick’s for years, no endless advice needed…
The best dealer in Seattle is SeaTac
Looking at Edmunds you are starting behind the 8 ball in Seattle since you don’t have the bigger conquest incentive available to you. What kind of numbers are you getting?
Like $575/month with 1500 DAS for a V6, $36000 MSRP…
I’ll probably get an Audi S5, but this deal looked intriguing…
You’re looking at the wrong car. The target for this deal is a V8 Camaro LT1. While more expensive from an MSRP perspective, from a leasing perspective the LT1 (not to be confused with the 1LT) has a much better lease program. Significantly lower interest rate and I believe a higher residual too.
No, I requested the lease deal on the V8 LT1. Twice. They came back with the V6 offer…
Have you considered making an offer to them rather than asking them for a quote?
I sent them the lease details, and said I would make that deal, today. They came back with a ridiculous offer on a V6 model, said that $287/month deal isn’t offered in this region.
I haven’t really been shopping Camaro’s, but at that price, hard to pass up.
They are technically right because they don’t have the additional conquest cash available to them. But the rest of the lease program should be identical. You can still get a strong deal from the right dealer, but it will be higher than other regions.
This is the issue I have run into. My local won’t give even a dollar off MSRP and has a marked up MF, so even with the rest of the terms the same as the target I’m getting mid $400s.
Yes.
And I’m not going to go in and sit down with several different dealers to try to hammer out a deal. They need to realize that the old style of car buying simply doesn’t work for many people today.
Agreed - the alarm bells went off when they refuse to tell me their dealer fees…
We’re are you hunting?
Texas. There’s only about 3 in the whole state hence the issue.
