Looking at a 2017 qx60 awd, premium with warning signalling,
Msrp 52660
Discount 3000 ( includes 1000 to have it delivered from another out of state dealer)
5000 down
15 k miles
39 months
Mf .00103
States 2200 in msd would lower payments only .5% and not worth it.
Base payment 598
Was hoping for more discount and less downpayment/ more msd.
What do you all think?
The 10% discount seems like a good discount. To me it seems the dealer is not going to go lower. Sure some people got marginally better deals in different locations and different months but so far you seem to have a solid deal
Arizona here. Not sure the breakdown of the 5000 down, just “customer cash”. They wont do MSD
They also tried to sneak in the “propack” and etching whenthey gave it to my wife. That pissed me off
Sorry i got my mdx inco confused in there. Yes, they will do msd. But discouraged it.
700 acq fee
389 doc fee
776 gov fee
Taxes 2273
500 down to get layment to 598, although they quoted 684 initially
Wait till end of the month to buy or even end of quarter. At least that’s what I did. Dealer made a loss on my deal but at the end they get a bonus from Infiniti because they reached certain number of sales.
MSRP: $50,250
Sale Price: $42,000
Money Factor: .00113
Residual @ 10,000 miles a year : 58%
Total Drive Offs w/no cap reduction $1005.95
-1st months payment $491 + License and Registration Fee $508.75 + $6.20 Tax on Doc Fee = $1005.95
Base Payment before Tax: $455.68
Total Payment with Tax (based on OC SALES TAX) : $491.00
I’m new to leasing so any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
If this is for 39 months, then I get $428.75 before tax with that sale price and the acquisition fee capped. At 36 months I get close to your numbers. Since both have the same residual, the 39-month term is better.
You may want to ask for the net cap cost to really confirm their calculations.
Also, if you can afford to float 9 security deposits, you can drop the monthly to $364 plus tax.
