So i pulled the trigger on this lease deal last night. All of the details of the deal are posted above. The only reason my numbers aren’t the same is because I had a TON of inequity that i was rolling into this lease. I traded in a super base model 2014 Toyota Corolla LE. I owed $11,756 and they gave me $8,300 for it since it needed tires and had some cosmetic issues. So I set out to find a vehicle that (through rebates) i could get a normal lease payment and have the rebates cover my inequity. Long story short, I think I have done it. My new lease payment with my $3,500 worth of inequity is $216 Per Month

I am thrilled with this lease because of the extras this car comes with standard that my previous corolla didn’t have. Sunroof, Apple Carplay, Heated Seats, Push Button Start, Blind Spot and Cross Traffic Alert and Dual Zone Climate. I was paying $230 per month financing the Corolla and now I am in a lease ( which I should have been doing since the start since I change vehicles so frequently) and I honestly couldn’t be happier. I couldn’t have done any of this without the knowledge gained on this forum. Thank you to everyone!

Nicely done.
Congratulations…
Did you check the possibility of stacking $500 BoostUp discount?

Any links to the lease cash? I can’t seem to find the details anywhere

Edmunds shows it (if your zip code supports it.)

I looked into the boost up promo but fine print said you needed to be signed up with boost up for atleast 30 days for them to match the money, so I couldn’t use it.

The lease cash is only good for 36, 39, and 42 month leases and I believe I initially saw it on edmunds

Yeah that’s true.
What is $500 sales event?
I didnt see that for my zip code.

How are you getting $88/month? it comes out to $107 when i put your numbers in.

Monthly Payment (Excl. Tax): $98
Monthly Payment (incl. tax): $107
Drive Off: $999
First month’s payment incl. tax: $107
Down payment: $0
Registration and doc fee: $480
Tax on cap cost reduction and fees: $412
Leasehackr Score: 18.2 years
Disposition Fee: $400
Total Lease Cost: $4,739

Rebates were apparently not taxed and tags were $240 not $400

Quote from dealer (Tustin Hyundai), any other suggested dealers. This was from Truecar (yeah, I know …)

2017 Elantra Sport (Automatic)
MSRP $22,750
Factory Equipment (Floor Mats, Cargo Net, First Aid, Rear bumper protector): $275
Inland Freight & Handling: $835
Total MSRP: $23,860
Dealer Discount and Rebate: $4,497 (includes Truecar discount $1700, Sales Event Cash $500, remaining $2,297 assume is ~9.6% discount)
Selling Price: $19,363
Residual: $12,884.40 (Calculated to be 54%)
Tax: 7.75% (Orange County, CA)
36 month/10k miles
Cash Down: $0 and $0 drive-off
Monthly: $292.99 (assume including tax)
On Tier 6 Credit (not a lot of credit history, first lease, score low 600s), do NOT have the MF for this, assumed .002 4.8% (for Tier 1, I think .00016 0.384%)

I think I am missing the $3,000 lease cash to make this deal actually work. Would you guys know where I can find this? Found a $2,000 Bonus cash but not sure if stackable with the items above (worth $55/mo)

https://www.edmunds.com/hyundai/elantra/2017/st-401690708/deals/

Any dealers in SoCal (Orange County) that can help us with the $2,000 bonus @ $55/mo and then trade in $800 (old Elantra) @ $22/mo = $292 - $77 = $215/mo is probably something we will be happy with

That is a pretty solid deal. That is a lot of car for that little a month!

I’m assuming you meant the $88/mo and not my $293/mo

That’s a terrible deal tier 6 or not.

Yeah, I don’t know why they didn’t offer the $2,000 lease cash. I also found a $500 Valued Owner. So, starting from scratch, doing 10% off MSRP, then doing $2,500 and assuming Tier 1 MF .00016 (just to get apples-to-apples), I am coming up with $152 ($164 with tax). Also adding a trade-in of $800

then going extreme on Tier 6 (multiplied MF by 10) .0016, I am getting $197 ($212 with tax)

not sure how doable this deal is … so basically anywhere between $164-$212 is acceptable

Is there any info on the hyundai site about the 3,000 lease cash? can anyone use it?

Use the link above, type in your zip code. From what I can see, it changes from $2,000 to $3,000. I think you can use it for the any of the specific models and trims mentioned without anything else needed.

Does it show that anywhere on the hyundai site? I don’t see it.

If you here, https://www.hyundaiusa.com/financial-tools/special-offers.aspx and then click on the Payment Calculator, you will see the offers added (left side) with an “I” icon (need your zip code)

Link above is from Edmunds

Thank you!..

I got this offer. anyone know who qualifies for the hyundai finance bonus cash? it sounds like anyone does, but not 100% sure. i am currently leasing an infiinti q40, and the lease is up in a month; not sure if i qualify for the competitive make/valued owner discount either. i emailed them back asking if i qualify, but still no answer two days later.
