1st Timer Making A Deal On A Traverse

Do dealers have to run my credit before a deal can be made? At least in terms of asking price. Also how do I deal w/ dealers who do not want to put numbers on papers so that they cannot he matched by other dealers ?

You go to the other dealers.

And no, they don’t need to run your credit to negotiate a selling price

Do they all need to pull my credit in order to put a deal on the table

You can agree to terms with a handshake or elbow bump, but before you sign the paperwork, they will run your credit. There is always an assumption you have best credit to give you a lower payment, until they run your credit and the fun begins.

Use Grant Cardone’s 10X rule. The very minimum you should be emailing 10 dealers to get their specific quote in writing. Many will not want to play ball via email, cross them off and don’t look back.
