Im in Florida like you are. Gotta keep shopping every 3 years. Both Progressive and Geico keep raising premiums and keep resetting them every 3 years. Been with both since 2008.

Got insurance from Allstate, the price isn’t bad at all.
I was with Geico and flipped to Progressive. Every time my policy comes up I get a quote from Geico. Geico has been higher every time I switched. It’s way higher than Progressive if I pay the premium upfront.
I just needed to get it on an insurance policy so I could finalize the lease paperwork. I’m going to start shopping for other insurance options. I’m waiting on Hagerty to open today to see if their agreed value insurance would be appropriate. Since it’s a lease I only care about the amount of the lease as opposed to what the car may be worth. My lease is WAY lower than MSRP and I didn’t put anything down so I just want coverage for what’s owed on it.

This makes sense for you, but BMW would like their entire car replaced if it’s totaled.

I went with Allstate for my 24 XM here in NC, and my price was very reasonable. I would give them a shot.
