I have a cord and a wireless adaptor, neither one works.
Go and let them check for error codes. They recommend to reboot, but the problem will come back. Just serviced my XC90 T8 and asked to check the audio and update software, if needed (no issues, just in case since the car was serviced anyway and I had this issue on my XC40).

Fair warning that any code(s) stored in the infotainment system, and not on the OBD CAN bus, don’t survive a reboot.
But definitely bring the vehicle to a workshop as the car may suggest
This has never made a difference for me when CarPlay disconnects, but I always keep spares to try just in case.

Yeah that really looks like it needs more than a reboot. Volvo is a love-hate relationship it has so many quirks but I love the premium feel without the badge and attention. In fact I love it so much that I am swapping my xc90 T8 for a XC60 B5 in hopes less complexity = less problems. This will be my last Volvo…I promise.
My bluetooth never connects right. Need to toggle between radio then bluetooth to get it going but it gets around 27mpg combined with minimal pluging in. And the off the line power has surprised several ricers…
Does that really help if a lot of the problems are related to electronics and the OS?

It doesn’t but the T8’s are over complicated which comes with issues and annoying things other than electronics.
Funny thing, after posting how my XC40 had sound issues 3 times in the last 18 months, it now has sound issues WEEKLY. That software update must’ve really screwed me.
My rearview camera stopped working suddenly and the sound has cut out for the second time this week. Even the blinker sound went out.
hold a button under the screen for a while to restart it.
It’s prob 10k or some amount of elapsed time (1 year?) since it’s been used, whichever comes first. Any idea how long it was sitting on the lot?

No it was brand new. I’ve had it since November
I had the same popup, leased in November (new) and only have about 3500 miles on it. Not sure what to do.
