It’s not a bad car to be in at all. But wagons have become such a niche product, and you’re up against established competition like the Outback, and you offer virtually no reason or incentives whatsoever to buy or lease it? And on top of that you cover it in “rugged” cladding that the Euro version didn’t have which makes it even clearer that it’s up against the Outback instead of trying to be something a little more refined and upscale. Buick needs to hit the reset button or just become an Asia only marque at this point. The only vehicle I’d remotely consider would be the Enclave if I needed a GM vehicle and wanted to spend extra money to flex on Traverse owners.
Looking back at Edmunds this lease is actually not far off. If the guy/gal leased at MSRP, it might just be a marked up MF away from the posted lease payments.
From when I think they leased, I would guess 24 month RV was about 57%. That leaves you paying, if bought at MSRP, depreciation of about 16.3k before interest and taxes. With a MF mark up that gets you pretty close to 794 a month
Purchasing the TourX makes way more sense anyway. Even though the $25k price includes ALL the GM incentives, I’d bet that you could probably still score a pretty good deal
If I lived somewhere that actually had winter and/or PNW I’d absolutely be driving one of these. They’re good value if you can risk the longer term reliability. 36 payments at less than that crazy lease price and it’s all yours.
TF is optional items? Garbage.
god I hate Chapman
Well what did you expect by walking in? A

I didn’t expect anything. I just think that’s horrible…
You just wanted something to post under this topic,
My goal is to hack a Q8 come November or December. If it can’t be done, I’m fully prepared to move on to another vehicle.
I am going to walk in to one dealership just for a test drive, I’m excited to see how bad a deal they put in front of me. When they put it down, I’m going to pull my phone out, play this video (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9Jz1TjCphXE), and hand it to the rep.
Ha, i use to use that at work as my new email sound on outlook
This one is so loaded that it’s ‘loaded from top to bottom’!
Only thing loaded there is the payment.
In their defense though it seems MI dealers are schnorrer on German cars. Last minute plane ticket is cheaper than the premium they command.
Yikes, what’s the retail on one of the “fully loaded” 3.0 X5s?
Heated seats are so good, he listed it twice
And let’s not forget the federally mandated back up camera that every vehicle sold after 2016 must have. So loaded!
To be fair it has heated seats x 2
Do twice the heated seats mean it gets warmed up twice as quick?
It’s for the larger-bottomed person. Separate elements for each cheek.

Isn’t that standard on X5?
