From an ig ad.
In today’s LAT, there is an article about a con artist who was paying a little over $4000/month for a $160,000 Porsche Turbo.
So the article was about the dealership that gave him the lease?
How’s $1,700+/mo (backing out tax) for a base M3?
I think that the amount of people who are trying to dump their leases (after realizing they’ve been fleeced) has only just begun.
lol based on pics look like he paid a 10k markup. yikes. stuff is just wild, hope there is a fire sale on these and can pick one up. with 10k incentive it’s still not great
kinda strange spec, stick m3, individual paint color, carbon ceramic brakes, carbon bucket seats and 5k carbon exterior package.
Most real M cars are or will be. But they still go through a big U-shaped depreciation curve and don’t start appreciating for decades.

What’s there to discuss?
It’s an absolutely fantastic deal
This is the lease “special” on the front page of tricounty lexus
That’s right!
When do you plan on signing this fantastic deal?
Yesterday! ![]()

Well, for example how dealerships think it’s ok to have such a downpayment but always tell you it’s a bad thing to do OnePay because, in case of an accident, you will lose everything. But somehow always forget the same thing happens to the downpayment. Ugh ![]()
Geez!
The fact that dealers put out these Ads, means that they must work! I am always wondering who signs these “deals?”
No wonder they (dealers) sometimes look at us like we are crazy, when we are looking for Leasehackr worthy deals.
I’m sure they work on a small number of people and therefore they are worth it. I think a good amount of people are payment shoppers and have no concept of TOC.
Like the guy who put $9k down to have $300 payments on his Mazda
Or the lady who was willing to put down an unspecified amount to have a $600 Suburban

Now I could be wrong because I don’t know the specifics on this deal at all or generally how these lease but my FIL just signed for a 2023 T8 Polestar S60 MSRP $68xxx with 5K out of pocket for $998 a month. Effectively $1140 a month.
I feel like for close to $1200 a month, he could be driving something a lot nicer.
