The other downside of a black SUV in Manhattan is people walking up to your car at a redlight and trying to get in.
BTW, my Volvo dealer uses brushed carwash and they broke the rear wiper handle on my XC90. Didn’t even need the car washed.
The amount of time people tried to get into my black car thinking it’s their Uber/Lyft, I could’ve had a white car for free.
That was not the carwash. It was just payback for you being such a whiny jerk to the mechanic …
People who don’t clean black cars end up with a better condition a lot of time because black will show any swirls or imperfections of an improper cleaning method, such as a traditional car wash or cheap microfibers.
I’d be pulling that chrome trim off and wrapping it black.
Do you have to inform/ask dealership if you want to black out rims on a lease car outside dealership at third party? Do I have to buy different rims to black them out and return car with original rims with its original color? Sorry for maybe stupid question
Probably a different topic but the vehicle has to be returned the same as purchased, minus some wear and tear.
not black, but my first car that I actually chose myself (rather than a hand-me-down from a parent or family friend) was midnight blue.
definitely would not get another dark car again, every single scratch stood out like a sore thumb.
Your wheels are between you and the bank. Dealer has nothing to do with it unless you got your car from this guy.
No brushes when washing. That will create swirl marks.
