Where have all the good deals gone?

The key now in my mind is not to get locked into a “good deal” at today’s pricing, that eventually becomes a SAL deal as pricing and inventory hopefully ease with things returning to something closer to normal as the vaccine makes the rounds.

I will be in the market for a new car in June/July. Although time is on my side, let’s hope by then inventory is close to pre-Covid times. Since I will be looking at a new 2021 5 series, I am not expecting a unicorn deal. I have an idea of what a LH-worthy discount should look like.

There have been some crazy loaner deals posted recently. I believe there were two 30% off MSRP 7-series deals and a nearly 20% off deal on 5 series loaner. So there are still deals out there. You just have to find a dealer that will play ball and be ready to pounce once the price is right.
