Anything in due time reaches homeostasis after a disruption. This being no different. I think out of respect to Clutch, I’m sure a lot of brokers are hesitant to penetrate the markets he held. But in due time, that void will be filled.

Damn this sucks. As a Texas resident, I don’t have many options going the broker route. Also side question: I know being a broker is very difficult with lots of logistics to work out. Do we know how many people worked for Clutch?
Clutch can/will still spam email all of their deals. Just can’t post here. Literally join their email sub list on their website.
Lots to do about nothing at the moment. Happy to be here for it tho.

Tough situation all around. Yes, the users are the people who make the site what it is but Brokers also help keep the lights on via their membership fees. End of the day, it’s what the owners choose to do and while it may or may not match what I’d do, it’s their decision.
The best part about an internet forum…if you don’t agree with it, there’s a free exit that you can take.

It was not the mods nor the brokers who announced or implement the verdicts. It was the owners. We could have been the jury but it’s only opinions that judge can easily ignore.
As for Clutch - he isn’t banned from doing business outside of LH. You can still get your EQS and leases directly from him.

I say this as someone that has used Clutch before, and was in the middle of looking at leasing another vehicle through them.
Y’all are picking a weird hill to die on.
The admins mentioned they found several ethics violations a week or so ago, where a trustedhackr and a broker were acting unethically. That is the bottom line here. This website has a duty to make sure that brokers and trustedhackrs are acting ethically and with integrity. If you break that circle of trust, there must be severe consequences.
The awesome deals posted by them are irrelevant. The impact on potential leasees is irrelevant. It’s about making sure the website maintains integrity amongst all members. The sins of others can affect the whole.

Unless this site starts banning people for continuing to mention Clutch has better deals.
Honestly I wouldn’t say a thing if I were the forum owners. No good will come out of it. Plus the other party isn’t available to defend themselves.
well, I’ll just say there’s been severely overlooked “integrity” issues running rampant with other brokers and TH’s that remain overlooked.

I was always a fan of Clutch, and he can still be used outside the forum, but you break the rules, especially when on top, the risk got the consequences, deceit aint the right move.
