If i were you, I’d just stick to the buy at launch and sell a month out, for close to sticker. The minimal tax and accessories would be cost of doing the annual upgrade. You’d probably come out on top.
Yea I’m basically stuck in that cycle myself.
I have verizon fios and cell so it’s not bad. 150 for 5 lines which includes 1 with apple music, mobile hotspot, and apple arcade. I plan to upgrade everyone next month with trade ins. So it’ll be around 175 for 5 lines with new iphones hopefully. ATT and T mobile can’t come close to the Verizon price!
I would love to see the math on this one.
This is before Verizon become more expensive with their new unlimited plans but this is it.
$25 (each) for 4 lines (5g start) It includes the Fios Discount of $10 per line and the autopay Discount of $10 per line.
$10 for my apple watch
And 47 for my line which includes Apple music, Apple arcade and the Disney Bundle.
NJ taxes and fees included.
Phone payments are separate.
Thanks, but I was asking how do you come to only a $25 increase for 4 new iPhones after tradein?
5* iphones
So I have 5 iPhone 12 pro maxes that are “worth” 1k each as a trade in to verizon. If I trade it in, that brings the per month price of an iPhone 14 pro max to under 5 bucks a month for 36 months.
Dang thats a great deal. Right now I think its $18/month/line with a 12 Pro max trade in for a 36 month term when getting a 14 pro max.
EDIT: Verizon
With who? 10char
I’m pretty sure you have to get the highest plan with Verizon? I’m pretty sure its $200+ per month just for phone line.
ATT: Just call in for ask for a retention deal that will end up in an extended contracts. No trade in usually.
Verizon and Tmobile: Jumping between them will get you the biggest offer with a trade in of course.
Wait how? Do you get the 1k credit? I’m supposed to pay 2.77 a month per upgraded iPhone.
UPDATE: Verizon is weird, check out my offers under my devices to get the best offers. Some plans give out 1k in trade in credit for upgrades while other lines are 800 in trade in credit which makes it 8.33 per month. I think it has to do with which plan you have. 5G start means 800 in credit and 5G get more plan means 1k in credits.
I’m sticking with Spectrum Mobile $29.99/mo for Unlimited-they use Verizon’s Network and it works best where I live (bunch of hills around my home). I buy the iPhones with a trade in directly from Apple for roughly half the price or less, I usually buy the lowest 128GB model of Pro Max and subscribe to their $9.99/mo 2TB storage, this way my Mac Book Pro also gets backed up vs buying the 256Gb model, pans out about the same when you trade it in you don’t get more for the more GB models FYI , and you still get the storage increased to 2TB
Buying full price and trading in old phone for half price that is winning, I mean losing
Not at all. After the trade in of the 3x iPhone 12 versions, I pay $295/m total (all in w/ taxes) for 3 phones (14 Pro Max @ 256gb x3 with the monthly plan @36/m, 0%) and 3 Apple watches, with the phones on a 5G Get More (x2) and 5G Do More (1x) plan. Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu, Apple Music, Apple Arcade and 600gb of cloud storage are part of the deal as well.
$100/m per line/phone for legitimate unlimited service, a iPhone 14 Max Pro, Apple watch service and the streaming bundle is a pretty good deal compared to other carriers and plans even though the deals vary from month to month.
as opposed to illegitimate unlimited service?
you’re getting taken for a ride.
It is isn’t throttled, works as intended and the price is fair compared to other carriers and plans.
Isn’t it past time for you move on to your next forum after being banned?
Depends on the value of those addons (specifically how much you utilize each), service costs service quality, and device costs.
Person A might not use any of those addons, or is already getting say one of those items free from another source (ie Prime), doesn’t reside in a service area where they are de-prioritized, the majority of their service area offers consistent service quality regardless of provider, and their device costs would be subsidized if they switch carriers frequently. For them $100 would be terrible value.
Person B, might be the complete opposite, and $100 might be a deal for them.
Person C dont give a dam, and takes whatever is easiest to get that dopamine release from unboxing a new iphone.
Really depends on use case, and breaking down the numbers, preferably on a spreadsheet or clipboard like @anon65069371
fair enough
i have no idea what this means. are you hoping i get banned?
