What are the most HACKABLE non-EV luxury cars (SUV/Sedans)?

:100:

When there’s no disagreement it almost stops being an opinion and becomes a fact.

BMWFS will have to improve rebates, MF and RV substantially before anyone on LH wants one. No one really cares what the discount is if the lease isn’t good; only buyers would care.

Right now it’s far from a hack. IDK what it’s doing in this thread.

Dude, everyone at my day care has a RR, Escalade, Porsche, X7, Q7, or GLS. If the dads drop off they’re always in their loaded Platinum, Denali, M, AMG, whatever “dude-mobile.” They absolutely snob each other on the nameplate. Volvo is a sh!tbox.

These aren’t ultra wealth home-school nanny households, so no Bentleys, G Wagens, etc here.

If I go in my BMW i4, I might as well be pulling up in a Camry. Very shame. Much lameness.

PS, the biggest flex for dropping off kids is to do it in a loaded golf cart.

You’d be surprised how many people want to just drive a badge for 500/mo all-in (or maybe you wouldn’t be).

I’ll probably get ripped for sending someone to UAM (I have no clue who they are), but they have a GLC300 that has ultra low miles and was maintenance A/B serviced by MB during the warranty period.

It isn’t CPO but is listing for $30k as a ultra-base spec GLC 300 (edit, whoops it has park assist). i feel like could be a candidate to hit $500/month over a 60 month purchase horizon if someone also budgeted for a possible repair.

IMO, I’d rather have a 2-series Bimmer on lease than this GLC on loan haha.

Maybe the reasons why BMW leases are so trash now is that they’re objectively better cars compared to their competition? There’s a reason why EQS and i4s are similar priced and it’s not because i4s are trash…

I drive a i4 and its freaking awesome. Some mercedes are great. The glb is not one of them. Like someone mentioned earlier, i also test drove it a few yrs ago and not only was the drive lacklaster but the seats were absolutely terrible.

Welcome to the forum. If you don’t need a new car anytime soon, then take your time to do some research. As others have stated, check out broker deals in the Marketplace to get an idea of what you can get for your budget.

I would also recommend checking with your insurance company what the premiums would be for some of the cars/SUVs you are considering.

Agreed. It is a nice discount off MSRP but the lease is still really bad. Funny thing is if a Tesla was $44k the lease payment would be very similar to this one. And of course you know that the Tesla wouldn’t even be discounted by 13%. BMW leases do not make sense to me. Although a BMW gets many more gold stars than any Mercedes does.

Good info. What stackable incentives are you seeing for this model?

And you can sit on your clown horn harassing Model X in front of you while they raise and lower those falcon doors impeding the process. And your kids had long hopped out and on their merry way.

Did this happen to you recently?

No, I used to work with someone who couldn’t stop complaining about being stuck behind all those MXs at her kids school.

Sounds like y’all have Joneses neighbors and leasehackr is way to keep up with them?

EQS and AMG EQE are the best for keeping up with the Joneses. @Alex1438

If your eqs doesnt come with pillows, get your numbers up

With the AMG you can leave them in the dust

So is the sad conclusion of this thread that there are few if any hackable gas cars? I offered some baby hacks on the C300 and GLB (I mean come on those are good payments, right! Right?) but it’s certainly not at the level of electric hacking taking place. Is this the best the ICE crowd can hope for these days?

$7500 lease cash
$2500 dealer cash

Max in fairness you suggested a G70 deal above that works out to an effective $494/month on a 46k car.

Now maybe there’s an argument about BMW vs. Genesis and inflated MSRP, but I dare say a onepay with an effective $430/month on a 44k car is a better deal? Just trying to understand why the Genesis would be an appropriate suggestion and the 2 series not, considering the context.

To me, I’d rather have a g70 versus a 2 series, if they were the same/similar price. Obviously excluding m’s and mlites
