What are the most HACKABLE non-EV luxury cars (SUV/Sedans)?

The answer is if you care about the badge there are very few deals to be had since the badge is one thing and then it needs to be a certain model as well. If you don’t care about badge there are some deals out there in the marketplace. The rest of this thread I don’t get what’s happening.

This golf cart in particular.

You answered your own question. A genesis is usually way better equipped at the same MSRP vs a BMW or MB.

And for people who consider performance too, the G70 is a RWD or RWD-based AWD platform unlike the 228i, and the base motor in the G70 makes the same power as the M235i. So why would anyone choose the 228i?

I wouldn’t be. At all. But even for people who just want to flex a badge, the C300/C43, GLA35 and CLE450 coupe deals posted recently seem way more bang for the buck than the 2-series.

Some are less than $500 and some are more, either way I just don’t see anyone thinking the 228i is a good flex for the money.

Thanks for the exposition, I see your POV.

Just be sure it works out to a 1% flex ratio or it’s not a good deal.

I wonder what is the divorce rates for people who get a Bimmer for themselves, then shove their spouse into a Genesis. There should be a extra cost field in the TCO calculator for this.

DivorcrScore for Genesis is higher than for BMW.

Here’s a broker deal on 2024 GLB loaner that is within your price range.

Thanks for this, I had seen this earlier - I ultimately decided to not go for the GLB coz the seats at the back didn’t suit my needs, too uncomfortable. Skewed more towards the Hyundai Santa Fe Limited AWD right now!
