What am I missing on a 2020 Niro EV?

I am getting the same up in PA. The best I could do was get the dealer to - what they claimed - was invoice, around $40,850 for final sales price, pre-incentive on an EX model. On a 24/10/54% residual at 2.54%, that puts monthly pretax at $350/month with the $12k incentive.

I’ve got a dealer about 2 hours from me on a $41500 car showing me $37900. With the numbers plugged in, I come up with $269 a month. So I said, let’s do it, I can do paperwork via email and come by before you close today. No response! I reached out again this morning, same thing?? They have 4 of them…

I had King Kia at 260 for 36/10 on the ex with just 1st month Das last month. But I went with the kona. So it can be done.

It can definitely be done! The otd number lines up to the payment I’m asking but they go mute?! Being I work for a dealer with inventory issues I imagine they are not agreeing due to trying to make max profit on a sell, not lease. I guess?

Is that their advertised price? What incentives are getting them there?

Advertised prices are usually pretty useless.

No, I have an email with the price otd. I inquired and sales manager sent it. I responded, twice now, with that price broken down into lease and said let’s do it. Nothing!?

Otd price suggests a purchase. Are you trying to use that number to switch to a lease?

Yea, pretty much. Minus the sales tax obviously. I don’t have to get anything so I’m not being super aggressive. Just confused on why they show me a number and then either ignore me or quote the lease at about another $4k over their price

What purchase incentives are there vs lease incentives

Not sure, I only know of the lease cash.

Figuring that out would probably go a very long way towards figuring out what the difference is.

Edmunds says $5k purchase cash and maybe also $1.5k and 0%

Well, $6500 in incentives would probably put this $37900 quote at or above msrp… explains the lease numbers not adding up

So going through my emails from the various dealers I’ve been emailing with I see that only 2 out of 8 actually gave me a lease price. All the others say “Kia does NOT have any leases on this vehicle” Why will some quote a lease and the majority say its not possible to even lease it? What is the truth? I have a work friend that is a GM at a Kia store and he says you cant lease them as well. I see people on here that have??

Could be a timing issue. Did they end lease support this month?

All my emails are from this month? I was able to get numbers from Edmunds and whatnot so it seems like they do lease them. Also seen people on here getting them. Im about 90% given up at this point. I will maybe start a new search next month.

That’s bizarre then. Would have made sense if you had asked for quotes from the end of last month and then they stopped for May. It is awfully late in the year for their to still be lease support.

I agree, I just emailed a dealer local to me that had quoted me on the 6th, $498 a month. I show with their worksheet emailed to me that it would be $367? This quote also included ZERO discount off sticker. Not sure where they get these monthly payments from, haha.

Post your calculator and their offer and we can see where the issue is

Maybe screenshot it. Not much we can tell from that
