Volvo XC90 Deal Check

,

cool, thanks for the quick look.
that starting $59k msrp is actually on the high end of what I was going for. T5 Mom 7seater w/advanced package is ~$56k, so could prob play around with the pre incentive discount a bit lower and would still wind up in the same ballpark.

Let us know if you get close to that discount from any dealers.

no luck yet, only received this counter so far after asking for a more detailed lease worksheet

Looks like you are at 10.8% discount if you take out the $2500 lease cash they included in their discount. Payment around $40 more than where you want to be. If they can discount another $1000-$1200 you would hit your target.

this was the original sheet they provided, which didnt give much in the way of leasing details

Gotta separate out the rest of the incentives from the ā€œautonation savingsā€ amount to figure out your actual pre-incentive discount.

I believe he is at 10.8% discount since lease cash for this region is $2500.

So when you contacted this dealer you sent them your offer of 13% off MSRP and they can came back at this 10.8% off?

correct; backing into it with the 8889-2500 = 6389 discount
really wanted it itemized properly, so Im not playing guessing games.

tax also seems slightly high on this, as I’m using 8.25% for local sales tax

Is this only dealer you contacted or this one so far has best pricing? It is getting closer to end of the month so there might be room for them to go lower if they need to meet some numbers?

I’ve done about 3 or 4 now.
Actually found a loaner with specs i want close by, so curious to see what he comes back with the revised RV%. Was multitasking and getting email out quick, so didn’t even realize it was a loaner at first lol.
If that drops a bit, maybe they’ll just look to give an even higher discount to offset it.

hmm any recommendations on discount for T5 MOM 7seater loaners with 5 and 6k miles? as expected, Edmunds query was not able to provide revised RV% on loaners.

There’s a $.20 per mile penalty on loaners.

would mf% typically be the same on the loaners? they just confirmed there’s one with 6300 miles on it, with an advertised $5k discount so far. but now im noticing a few with very similar configs that i would consider. really just want a T5 or T6 w/advanced package.
~58-61k msrps, with ~4-5k advertised discounts, so trying to think what is an aggressive offer that would be considered.

MF is the same for new or loaner.

On a $60k MSRP loaner with 6000 miles, you’d be targeting $9-10k off before any incentives. Generally the advertised discounts have the Volvo allowance/lease cash rolled in.

cool thanks. im prob going to be annoying asking for info on multiple vehicles, but there are 5 i would take, but missing few bits on each one.

I thought email/live chat with dealers was all the rage at the moment. Doesnt even want to discuss over email lol. Not going 70 miles to simply test drive and waste hours in the dealership.

They’re just saving you time by letting you know they don’t want to give deals

Which is fine, just told him thanks anyway.

Have a hard enough time narrowing things down in the first place, so obv need the extra info that’s not disclosed on each vehicle page right away.

Oh, well. Onto the next dealer.

think i had my calcs slighlty off, having the lease cash as untaxed, and the costco rebates taxed in CA; but seems as if both should be taxed.
