Volvo Pull Ahead Question

There is something that is confusing the heck out of me.

I have tried searching the Volvo site, googling and many posts here and cannot find the correct answer.

I have an S90 lease maturing in 10 months and looking into getting into a XC60 or XC90.

I see that the pull ahead is 6 months for XC60/XC90 and 9 months for others.

Is this based on the car I am newly leasing or returning?

If it is based on car returning, I am eligible for 9 months but if it is based on the newly leasing, I am eligible for 6 months?

Following this thread as I have a XC90 coming due in 12 months and looking at pull ahead as well into another XC90 or maybe XC60. Anyone know if you lose the Volvo loyalty on a pull ahead. Thought I heard that before.

@Ursus

I have also seen here that it is loyalty or pull ahead — not both.

@Ursus is the Volvo guru here

Wait for him …

It’s based on your current car, so 9 months on S90 (if they din’t change it altogether).

@adk - yes, with the S60 being exception at the beginning of the year. Don’t remember if it was S60-to-S60 or S60-to-any. May or may not still be the case now. But @nyclife knows for sure and @okboye too. Maybe even @Benedetto can chime in

I see your loosing your Volvo shine slightly. tagging all these other folks when so many of us are looking up to u as the GuruVolvo!

Yeah, I’m done for 3 years, so not paying much attention any more

lol makes sense.

It was S60-to-S60 to get both pull-ahead and loyalty. That is one thing I know for certain! I made sure it was all Kosher before Costco started in May and loyalty was dropped from the S60 for two months in the NE.

The amount can also depend on both the car being returned and the new car, such as the current enhanced XC60-to-XC60 loyalty.

$2,000 XC60-XC60 retention bonus has been around for at least a year, on top of loyalty.

Correct, no loyalty AND pull ahead in most circumstances.

Right. Just mentioning a specific vehicle-to-vehicle one!

As a new employee of a Volvo dealer I can confirm.

It is based on the car you currently have: 6 months for SUV and 9 months for a sedan and you CANNOT currently combine pull ahead and loyalty either one or the other

Thanks for the confirmation.

Is disposition on the car being turned in paid, or does that get waived as part of the pull ahead?

Waived, of course. You get another Volvo.

Figured as such, but wanted to confirm.

Yes definitely waived thank you @Ursus
