Vehicle Transportation Recommendations in SoCal?

Getting close to finalizing a PND but the dealership won’t help with transport. A bit frustrating they are not offering any options at all and told me to find my own transportation company.

Therefore, does anyone have any recommendations for transport companies/people that they have used? Pick up in Escondido (92026) and delivered to Arcadia (91006).

Thank you!

How about taking a train from DTLA on the weekend and asking the dealer to pick you up or send an Uber from the nearest station down there?

You can see if there any recent and geographically convenient recs here:

This is a very good thought, but I’m busy weekends with my kids and their endless activities. :grimacing:

Thank you, will peruse that thread. :folded_hands:

Train is an… activity! :winking_face_with_tongue:

Have used Kaleb from TCI Logistics a ton of times. Always a great experience with him

The route to Escondido wouldn’t be too bad either. Find a way on Metrolink to go to Union Station LA and take it down to Oceanside (Can also use Amtrak but that’s more $). From there, connect with the Sprinter train to Escondido. I’ve used Metrolink more than a few times just to get down to SD County to meet up with family though never to buy a car down there. I did take the Amtrak from Bakersfield to Hanford to pickup my car, as the sales guy was nice enough to pick me up at the station.

Thanks for the suggestions all.

Unfortunately, the dealership that I had a verbal deal with has not sent the lease docs for review (promised on Weds) and has gone radio silent. Is this typical for a PND dealership?

That’s not normal – sorry to hear. Shoot us an email at pnd@leasehackr.com with your reservation number – I will have the team follow up with the dealer.

Thank you, I just sent an email. Appreciate it!

It is a 100 mile drive in SoCal… not really unrealistic to go pick up your car. Probably easier to call a tow truck company to pick up and deliver. Instead of a dedicated transport truck. Tippys Towing is a good choice, they typically do high end vehicle transport locally. But most cost effective would be driving/uber to pick up.
