Used 4 seat convertible options

Looking for a response back on that SL55, haha. You know you can stroke the check

I like it was just hoping the lease numbers would be better with that discount! It’s def a solid deal though and is on my short list if I go brand new. Love the color combo might just be a little smaller then I want. Lmk if you get a nice used s63 or 65!

It’s really not. Oh man, it’s pretty!

S Convertible would be a good choice like you said. You can also look into 2021 E450s. Those are nice too.

The ZL1 is quite predictable, so it doesn’t really have that “holy **** this thing is uncontrollable” factor imo.

Also, the rear seats are completely useless if your taller or are looking to seat 4 reasonably sized adults. I’m near 6’2” and the (back of the) drivers seat is literally an inch away from the rear seat.

I haven’t driven one yet, but I’m a big fan of these. Great looking cars and the interiors have an adequate amount of space.

I only care about rear seats for the kids. My son is 3 and taller then most 5 year olds so just need to be able to get him in there for a year. The s can fit adults too tho which is nice.

I’m going to drive the new sl today! We’ll see. Prob a bit over budget tho. Was hoping lease wojkd be close to 1500 with 30k off msrp. Crazy times.

Drive it and see.

Most of the coupes you should be able to get away with putting one rear facing car seat in the back…but 2 would be nearly impossible imo.

For the zl1, I put the car seat on the passenger side and I would put the kid in from the drivers side. Partially climbing into the rear seat to buckle/unbuckle isn’t the easiest, but it’s fine for something that’s not a daily imo.

I look forward to your review of the SL!

I remember when every rich old lady drove an SL convertible. But you don’t see these anymore. I’ll still see an older model driven by a rich old lady, but I haven’t seen the new ones either.

Well I would be first in line to drive the rich old lady car :joy:. I was on the prowl for an sl earlier this year, but the figures just weren’t where I had wanted them. Again, having not driven one, but I love everything else about the car. I’m hoping there is potential for a blowout at some point, as these still don’t seem to sell terribly well. :man_shrugging:t2:

I had a 02 sikver arrow edition back in the day for a few months. Loved that car such a classic style. I miss old used mb benz pricing! I had a c43, c32, e55, clk500, e500, s600. All great cars and were bullet proof for the time I owned them

Yeah I’ll have to buy a new car seat for him anyway so prob will get one of the low profile front facing that will fit in a 911 if I ever get lucky enough to afford my turbo.

Would an E53 Cabriolet land within the 1500/mo lease target? Could probably buy a used one and drive it for a bit and not lose much, especially if bought and sold within the powertrain warranty.

Gonna look at one today. Just doesn’t have the appeal that a s65 has to me. A little too generic for what I want right now. If I went that route I wojkd just get one a year or 2 old instead of paying 1500 to lease a new one.

Mercedes’ pre-2021 tech is so dated. Like rotary dial COMAND dated.

21 is a slight improvement with a touch screen and mbux but it’s still wired for carplay.

LC500 maybe? although only could be up to two years old
