I wasn’t worried at all, just annoyed. They ended up processing it several hours later.
After doing a HELOC and a car loan with them, I know that they will eventually get around to it, whatever “it” is.

For NWFCU, any recommendations on which community to donate for eligibility?
If you’re in Georgia check if yo qualify for delta community.
Requirements
Others have used Humane Society of the United States. You can make a donation prior to applying, and they will ask for proof of donation. Or, they can make the donation for you during the membership process.
I’m in GA, but have 2.19 locked in with NWFCU until end of July. DCCU had some crazy rates in may (1.49 iirc). Can’t believe I missed out on it.
Oh that’d be convenient. How long does it usually take once the purchase contract is submitted?
This is now a major flex
Right place, right time. Once in a while I get lucky.
I need to get a car by September, looks like Pen Fed’s rates have also gone up. I am a member of First Tech Federal CU, they still have 2.xx for 5 year new car loan, not sure how long that lasts.
Lock now for 30 days and get something in August.
I’m still a bit new to using credit unions for an auto loan. Do you lock in a rate and wait for them to mail you a check? I sent my application to Carolina Co-Op and it sounds like I should lock in as soon as they approve my application. If I don’t buy in 30 days I can just lock in again at the current rate I assume? Do banks typically issue a new check?
Get approved and sit on it. No check until you are ready.
quick question,
Do you need to tell them the exact amount your applying for down to the cent or do you just give them a rough estimate of how much your going to be needing?
You give them the VIN and they calculate the max loan amount based on 80% LTV
Anybody tried AndrewsFCU?

If ur under 80% LTV, IDB is just as good. However I will be adding Andrews to the list as you can join anywhere, even intly by joining the ACC.
120% LTV, and nationwide membership opportunity via American consumer council. Nice spot!
stay sway from andrews. they’re a complete nightmare.
Details please?
an absolute pain in the ass to deal with coupled with completely insane management. i wouldn’t bank with them if the loan was 0%.
