Tesla Ordering Tips - And Most Other Reasonable Things Tesla [but no more]

Guessing these prices don’t fully reflect the recent price increase?

What is your expected deliver date (EDD)? I’ve seen others get their performance version 6 weeks after ordering.

Man these price increases are ridiculous. I don’t see any other manufacturers raising prices that much. I think it’s Tesla’s own way of marking things up (permanently)
There is no way these low build quality cars are worth that much IMHO (as someone currently driving one)
Not sure how the combination of higher interest rates and higher prices are not slowing down demand (yes I know free market bla bla)
The funny coincidence is the insane amount of drops I am seeing this morning

The average price of a new car in 2022 is $47K and the price for a 2022 M3 RWD is $46,990

In 2020, the average new car price was $40K.
Unless you want a Bolt, every manufacturer is raising prices.

Tesla total cost of ownership is still industry leading.
You need to look past the initial purchase price.

It’s the end of quarter sales push. It happens every quarter.

Yeah, also rediculous they have a 1 year backlog of model-y orders. Sounds like more price increases are coming as long as high gas prices remain.

Crazy what people will do to avoid paying $100 at the gas pump each week.

One can hope that once giga texas is producing half a million cars per year, that prices will drop.

Consider selling your vehicle for more than you paid for it. Someone hurting paying so much as the gas pump will appreciate it.

Not sure how paying $7 per gallon isn’t accelerating electric vehicle demand.

What is a drop?

You ordered MY perf 5/30 and picked up 6/19? Seems like record-fast turnaround

Tesla releasing (or in other words, dropping) new/demo inventory in the wild (and our bots notifying everyone about it).

Probably a record, definitely got lucky. I’ll post pics once I get the PPF done.

Honestly makes more sense financially to sell care via drops with the new price tags rather than fulfill orders from a year ago lol

Guys, for another $250/month I can get you a car that has 400 plus range and has a record 2-3 minute for a full recharge with thousands of recharge stations virtually everywhere in the country.

It’s available at you local ICE dealership.

You can ask your SA to match you to a demo as well.

I just ran into my old neighbor and she has a new model S. The thing looks amazing inside and out. Very jealous of the perforated cooled seats. Mad model envy and if I see a non plaid S drop I might have to get it. Pissed I didn’t order one $16k in price increases ago. It’s going to continue to sell like hotcakes.

The more I drive it the more I like it.

I am still jealous of the mid year refresh being sold now.

Lazy web question, If I want to get a Tesla use it for 2 -3 months and sell which one would be the safest bet?

What’s a full charge cost for that model?

Depends. Could be $100-160 per fill.
