Recently they have refused to match demo vins to older orders as they have discounts associated with it based on the new MSRP. If the SA is willing to do it (or is able to), that’s definitely a great deal!
Electricity prices vary widely. You can fill up in Washington off peak for $10. Zero with solar. Zero with workspace charging. $30 in California with high demand charge.
Quote (using Phoenix numbers):
Civic would cost $70.55 while charging a Tesla Model 3 Standard Range would cost just $12.54, equivalent to $0.17 per mile for the Honda and $0.05 per mile for the Tesla, according to the analysis.
Model S non plaid just dropped in Miami. Red over black 19” wheels. 49 miles. I can’t do the red……

(For reference ^)
It has a March build date so it’s a (rare) pre-2022 refresh (like mine).
Good catch!
I thought you couldn’t test drive model s
I’m seeing demos
I can’t do the red. It really is a nice red but they are the worst color to get paint work done and are speeding ticket magnets for me. The Tesla is fast enough the red would be way more expensive on my insurance and lawyers bill than the $2500 up charge.
43 miles in 2 months of service isn’t really a demo for to me.
Radar detector and scanning eyes will save you all of that
No freaking waze is a huge miss in cars this fast.
I meant I thought you couldn’t test drive model S
Yet these are “demos”
I use waze + my radar detector and had my ass saved multiple times. Cop there but not running radar? Waze has me. Cop not on waze but running radar or laser? Detector got me. Need both
Prolly a SA or tesla exec getting special treatment for a weekend or 2
Anyone on the Facebook groups for tesla,. It’s funny to watch people post a car with 100 miles and claim my wife does not like it ,must sell. Or some other random made up story.
To fully charge a Tesla for $30 in California, do you have to do it at a Tesla station or is there some other cheap electricity option I’ve not heard about?
Edit-nvm at 19c/kwh with SCE rate I see it
also its cheaper to charge during “off peak” hours at home which is 9pm-6am i believe
my local charging stations .28 kwh - .37 kwh
some even charge 3.99 start to charge fee…
I thought you were in Tx? What r u doin in our neckathewoods?
