FWIW, Vroom quoted me $45k a week ago for a '21 SR+ (white on white, nothing else) with 13k miles.

I keep getting 54k on my 21 LR. 1200 miles. NJ. Weird algo.

Who did you end up selling to and how much they offer?

CarMax gave me 48k with 5k miles
With a mismatched paint on my sr+ in October

Vroom just got back to me 3700 miles
55k guess it’s time to sell

Just finished selling my 21 M3 LR to Vroom for $56.5 with 1750 miles. By far the best price right now, process not as smooth as others, but it worked out in the end.

And here it is… Used 2021 Tesla Model 3 For Sale ($60,999) | Vroom

Did they spit out that 56.5
Or did you negotiate

Congratulations
What was the MSRP when you got it?

Snagged a base model 3 thanks to Discord & @ilike2breakthngs

2021 Standard range RWD demo in NJ with 1,300 miles ($47K or so). Want to try out a Tesla for a couple of months as I sell my etron and wait for my 4xe (I spend too much time here)

Is the consensus that Teslas are still holding their values well with the usual players before I pull the trigger? Not necessarily looking to make money rather just don’t want to be in the red significantly come the summer if I look to flip it. No tax in NJ so shouldn’t be hard.

You can easily get 10% above MSRP on a 21/22 - sales tax is usually what kills it.

Lol someone is gonna get a bad deal.

I dunno, that originally $63k 2020 Model 3 SR+ on Carvana which is now down to $50k is still listed. The phrase ā€œa sucker born every minuteā€ā€¦I guess the sucker for that Tesla hasn’t been born yet. Lol

I think the more amazing data point is that Vroom has 940 Tesla Model 3’s listed in inventory right now.

Combine the outrageous pricing with a build up of inventory, I don’t understand the business logic.

We are talking about going from a Tesla to Wrangler. The whole definition of road noise and bumpy ride is about to change…

In Wrangler’s case, bumpy/noisy is expected and appreciated. Tesla?

Tesla catching on to flippers?

In MVPA, there’s a section:

No Resellers; Discontinuation; Cancellation. Tesla and its affiliates sell cars directly to end-consumers, and we may unilaterally cancel any order that we believe has been made with a view toward resale of the Vehicle or that has otherwise been made in bad faith, and we’ll keep your Order Fee, Order Deposit and Transportation Fee. This includes orders for which a third-party is facilitating or brokering the sale, or if the vehicles are to be exported to somewhere other than where you tell us you will be registering the Vehicle. We may also cancel your order and refund your Order Fee, Order Deposit and Transportation Fee if we discontinue a product, feature or option after the time you place your order. We work to fulfill your order as quickly as we can. If you do not take delivery of your Vehicle within ninety (90) days of placing your order at no fault of Tesla’s, we may cancel your order and keep your Order Fee, Order Deposit and Transportation Fee. Alternatively, Tesla may give you the option to reconfigure your Vehicle at the current pricing.
