It still seems like a lottery to get AMD at this point. Not sure if they’d switch to AMD completely in a month or two
Are they installing both right now? I’ve seen AMD in 13xxxx+ VIN cars
I’ve have a LR3 order that I placed on hold till after the new year (hold since expired). Tesla won’t let me place it on hold again, and my EDD is 18 Jan - 1 Feb. Reserved it prior to the last $1k price hike. Most likely gonna end up eating the $250, but if anyone is in the Owings Mills, MD area and wants to try and take delivery in my place and have it transferred, feel free to reach out. Not sure if it’s even possible, but guess we could find out. I’d only ask for the $250 deposit I put down in the event a transfer is possible. I’d get my deposit back, you save $1k off current pricing…everyone wins!
I have a 2022 MX LR in transit coming to the Bay area
They wont let me ship it to NJ so I’m going to let the reservation go
If you are interested, take it for just my $250 deposit back

Good deal
Current pricing is 110k+
Can you transfer orders?
MY out of gigi Austin is suppose to use the 4680 batteries. I want to push my Perf Y order until I know for sure the 2022’s start getting new batteries.
If you in the Bay Area
And he mentioned he has not input his on the order
You can
I have integrated the LeaseHackr calculator with the leasing information that Tesla lists for each term/mileage/mf combination they have. It’s available under the vehicle details > Additional Lease Data Points.
Hope that helps!
It’s interesting to play around w/ the Model S lease in the calculator.
Here is a $131K Plaid coming in at 5.5 years and $71,815 total cost.
Imagine paying $2.40/mile to lease a Plaid.
Smiles per KWH
It’s impressive what they managed to do while still using the 18650 batteries but it’s a stopgap for the real deal coming soon (4680)
transfer is pending
40k miles. Carmax offering $33,600 vs carvana $28,900 and vroom $32,700. Algo oferring $34,400 but not sure how legit they are. Can’t waste much time. Want to sell it within the next week because I only have 2 parking spaces in my townhome.
Considering you put 40k on it that’s a solid offer
How do I read than on the VIN? The one I am picking up in a week starts with a 7 and then a bunch of letters
No vin decoding on Tesla that tells you what chip the car has. Only build data will uncover that and Tesla doesn’t release that information.
Last 6 numbers after all letters. Pre 13xxxx only had intel atom, AMD was reported in 13xxxx+ vins. (This is model 3 specific)
I just missed the mark and I picked up in mid December. Your car should have Li 12v and AMD chip.
Gotcha. I’m getting a Model Y. After the letters the VIN is 35****
