Tesla Ordering Tips - And Most Other Reasonable Things Tesla [but no more]

Well he did sell them for a profit most likely

And the second one is going to vroom on Wednesday 2.5 months

This guy bought 19 Teslas before they cracked down on him. I can understand that.

But the other guy only sold one to switch to 7 seat MY from 5 seater. Maybe he is not telling the truth

More inventory to show up

Its been a little slow the last few weeks. Haven’t seen a MY hit discord in my state since 1/07. Whats going on there?

It has been a bit slow, but most of the good drops have been out in CA.

It usually picks up towards the end of the month. Here are the stats ;

Don’t you know that only Tesla is allowed to profit from high demand for their vehicles? :joy:

all of those S’s are plaids lmao. wow that market took a massive dump. also the car itself sucks for that money.

I’d rock one for the original asking price.

Had a P+ order that got cancelled and refunded fee when they failed to deliver the goods, guess I should have switch to Plaid then but didn’t need the car at the time.

At the end of the day though, it’s kind of hard to justify it when the new LR is nearly as fast as the P90DL and P3D were with none of the range penalty.

yeah it isnt worth 135-140k. that steering wheel just drives me nuts, along with the lack of luxury features all cars in that price range should have.

I didn’t love the wheel when we test drove an LR, would definitely send it out to put a round SW on it.

We still have an order for a MX LR 7 seater, as well as an original YLR order that over time morphed into a PYD with the base wheels.

Lol 35k model 3 my @$$

I think they dipped out on that in 2020 but to be fair you could still buy a YSR+ for $40K at this time last year.

And if I’d known they would appreciate into the mid 50’s, I’d have bought every last one I could get my hands on, put them on Turo and sold them off at peak pricing. Hindsight…

I bought my first one at 38
And I passed on the y at 42 because the ā€œ20 mileā€ range made a difference turns out the Tesla range wasn’t accurate :rofl::rofl:

You have a model x correct?

Any issues with your X?
I got a loaner once from Tesla it had 10k miles and it was falling apart
Would love one but 100k is a little to steep

Other than Supercharging being nerfed a bit by software and the front half shafts that need replacement at a pace 2x more often than tires not really.

We did have the AC compressor die at 43K miles which caused an unplanned stay in Phoenix for a few days while it was in queue for replacement.

Under warranty correct?
I can only imagine what Tesla charges

All was under warranty yes including the last set of half shafts at 53K (since we had reported it when it had 49K)

There’s supposedly a set of suspension parts that can remedy the issue that I may look into now that we are out of bumper to bumper warranty (4yr 50K) and onto just battery and drivetrain (8yr unlimited miles)

What was msrp on the X
120k+?
