Tesla Employee lease

Hi all.

Considering getting a new daily. I’m elgible for Tesla Employee lease, but I’m open to all the brands in general.
Tesla Employee lease program is a good one, but is it a no-brainer?

For example:
Tesla Model 3: $39k (47k with FSD):
3k down, 10k/36 comes down to $231/mo (with Full Self driving).
0k down, 15k/36 comes down to $380 (taxes included, also with FSD).

That doesn’t account for free charging.
Prices are with FSD. I can order without, but price stays the same.
Downside, is that in case of leaving Tesla, lease goes up by ~$200 (2.5k/yr).

At this point, is it worth shopping around?
I see ioniq5 leses for ~340-360/mo for 33months: no FSD and no free charging at work.

Free charging? Do you even have enough free time to make the most of it?

And is it worth driving the California Camry?

Oh, forgot to mention that I don’t have charger at home, but charging at work will cover at least 50% of my driving needs.

California Camry is no less exciting than other cars in the same price range unless I’m missing something

Assuming Model 3 LR given stated MSRP. Can you shorten the term?
I would probably go for it, unless you can get a deal on a M3P.
Besides, can you really show up for work in a BMW I4??

Do you at least get to pick the color combo free?

You won’t find much love for the model 3 since it is a non-luxury car masquerading as luxury. Your comparison is the ioniq5 which is similar in terms of quality/luxuriousness, or up in price for the i4.

It really is up to what you need. For the price & free charging, considering you don’t have a charger at home, I’d definitely stick with the 0 down 36mo/12k. Just don’t quit in the next 3 years since you’d then be paying a lot more for a car that’s not worth it.

39k is regular RWD, you need to un-click 7.5k incentive on a website.

39 for regular rwd, 42.5k for LR, 47.5k for LR AWD and 55k for Performance AWD.

I would pass on a M3RWD at those numbers.

Not worth, especially with that clause about leaving the company :face_vomiting:

I’m not trying to stick with EV only and would consider ICE cars as well.
Hard to put value on free charging and FSD. I’d put $50-150

UPD. Went over my notes. non-standart numbers were with 15k miles:
0 down, 36mo/15k for ~380-390.

What are the performance numbers?
I’d be more curious about that rather than the free FSD.

You’re getting free FSD (hense same price for lease with or without) and half of interest back.
Numbers are few weeks old, but for Performance:
64.6k car, 36mo/10k: 790 before incentive, 503 after.

I agree that the cheapest and fastest are the most interesting options.

Are we talking down or due at signing?

0 down, ~2k due at signing.

Do you need 15k miles? Would 10k work for you? What are the numbers for 10k miles?
If you drive 15k miles per year, then free charging is a big plus. FSD is not worth anything at least this year.

I actually have sold an i4 to a Tesla employee.

I guess they choose quality over loyalty!

Elon Musk would be reaching out to you shortly…

I would go performance version there is nothing out there that can compare to it for the price.
