Surprise Bolt Acquisition - Minnesota one pay $6500

With inspiration from JPo, another rare midwest hackr I submitted a Bolt lead via Costco and after a attractive but not great initial offer I countered with a one pay deal at 6400 citing this example but not expecting to be taken serious. 20 minutes later I had a callback that they would do it. Total pay ended up at 6512 as there is a EV fee in MN in an attempt to recoup lost gas tax revenue.

Great job! I have heard many reports of dealers being less willing to deal. I imagine it’s from the surge in interest from deal site devotees, and the fact that stimulus money is out to many already.

Nicely done, have fun with your Bolt. What color did you get?

Spicy for sure!

Deal started with silver so I stuck with that. I think I prefer the grey though.

This dealer was not willing to play ball on the Volt in 2017 so I was very surprised by the positive change in attitude.

I have been watching 2020 bolt inventory near me (200 miles) since 3/1. Has gone down 10%, not exactly flying off the shelves. There will be an end of month surge but 2020’s will still be leasing next month

Great deal. Congrats.

What is the 2k CCR. (In CA they’ve a Clean Air Credit.)

I have no idea what the acronym actually stands for but it is some kind of regional GM lease cash. There is zero state support in the midwest outside of maybe Illinois.

Thanks! You got a great buy.

Cap Cost Reduction

No luck so far in central Texas on one pay premier $7k or less. Nice work.

Thx. How does this figure into this deal? Was the drive off increased by this $2000. CCR, from the buyer? Or is it a programatic CCR from Chevrolet (built in rebate)?

The CCR is a regional rebate that reduces the cap cost in your lease calculator. It should go in the taxed incentives line with things like the Costco rebate and lease cash.
