Noob here, sorry if this is a dumb question or already answered.
My current BMW lease (2016 340 xDrive sedan) is up in August 2019, I’m looking to lease another (maybe 2019 330 xDrive sedan) and hoping to stack as many incentives as possible on top of dealer discounts (may look for a broker here to get something like a 10% off msrp if possible).
Looking to see if I should start new lease sooner than August (roll in negative equity on current lease, or keep both cars for a couple months) if some of the incentives below expire before that, please see below.
I’m also unsure if I should register the car in my name, or my wife’s, or both, since some of these incentives are through her, and others are through me.
Do any of these stack? Which of these should I try to use?
Loyalty through my current lease. Incentive varies by car.
Recent Grad: Wife graduated with doctorate in May 2017, I believe the $1000 off is for 24 months following graduation.
Fleet inventive: Wife’s workplace is a BMW fleet member, not sure of discount numbers
OL Code: I signed up for a driving event, checked in and was sent a code in my name that expires June 30, 2019 for $1000
I’d appreciate any advice I can get, thanks for looking.
Please consider the search function. Nonetheless, please see below:
Corporate Sales Program incentives may be combined with most lease or finance offers advertised but may not be combined with other program credits (for example Conquest, Loyalty, Lease, or APR credits).
Corporate Sales Program FS Lease / OwnersChoice incentives are not valid in Puerto Rico.
BMW Pre-Owned, BMW Company Vehicles, Extended Test Drive, Retired Service Loaners, and previously reported vehicles with 5,000 or more miles are not eligible.
BMW Corporate Sales Program incentive cannot be used in conjunction with Car Club of America (CCA), College Graduate Program, Group Partner & Family Program, European Delivery Program, Diplomatic and Embassy Program, Military Sales Program (USAA), Limousine & Hotel Shuttle Program, and VIP Purchase Program.
Thank you. If I’m interpreting your response correctly, it seems the fleet discount may not stack but the other three could. So I could focus on combining loyalty (around $2000 for Feb, hoping this increases by May), OL code (still applicable in May), and recent grad (applicable till May) for around $4K in incentives.
The CCA website that you reference predates the new fleet program that started just after January 3, 2019. The CCA website was updated about two months after the prior change (where stacking became permitted). Logic dictates that the CCA website simply hasn’t been updated in a timely basis.
Any ideas if the car would need to be registered in both of our names to quality?
I’d really prefer financing to be just in my name.
Not sure what the best way to go here is.
That page says you can buy the 3 year membership up to 15 days after buying the car and still qualify, but the PDF application says on or before date of purchase. Hoping the 15 day after purchase is true since I signed up 3 days after I leased mine
I emailed them last week and they confirmed 15 days after. Now for the fleet issue I’ll have to email them again. Will suck if I bought a three year membership for nothing. I guess checkmate but pretty crappy if they don’t update their website.
@LeaserOC You are still wrong but good luck and apply anyway (did you even get a new car with fleet?) Yes i read the website you claimed I didn’t read but apparently you didn’t scroll all the way down to see this. They have been updated for 2019 as it now mentions no i3 as well in exclusions.
