Sold one to AUTONATION!

Sold my 2021 Sahara 4xe with 1000 miles to Autonation for $53000. Payoff is around $50k. Walked away with a $3k check after having it for less than 3 months.

The offer number is honored. No back and forth. In and out in 90 minutes.

The overall experience is great. Aside from this offer, the highest offer I get is Carmax at $50k. I reached out to Jeep dealers as well but they lowballed like crazy.

Interesting. They offer exactly $53k for 2022 MY

They offered $52,995 for my '22 - but that’s up from $49,500 in late Jan.

From experience in couple of hours You could probably find local dealer offering at least $55k.

MSRP on my 21 Sahara is $59k but it doesn’t have the cold weather package, which diminishes the value a bit. It seems that they only care about the following options when making an offer:

Hardtop
Cold Weather Pkg
Power Top
Altitude Pkg
Two Sets of Keys

What’s altitude pkg

I think it refers to Sahara high altitude?

Try driveway, they were highest on 22

Can I ask why you sold it after only 3 months considering how hard it is to get good deals on cars now?

The one I sold is an in-stock unit and I got it at invoice, around 4% off MSRP. I have an ordered one coming in a few days. It should be delivered to my house next week as all the docs have been signed.

Sold one to automation in White Plains. Great service and timely. Stuck with the offer.

Does anyone know if Autonation are able to still buy leased BMWs?

Yes, they can.

Autonation and RODO both can. I would check with the latter, they gave me a better offer on my lease that Autonation couldn’t come close to.

Thanks. I will do that. Autonation so far best offer. Will try RODO. I worry that I’m in Florida and they are in NY. We will see.

Sold my 2019 BMW lease to the SF valley location (CA) this past weekend. Payoff 30.2k, purchased from me for $29.5k. paid them total about $900 - i also had to pay about $200 of “unearned amount” of the payoff quote, whatever that means. As i was told by autonation, i got a bill by BMWFS for $350 disposition fee - total 380 with sales tax. Overall very happy - sold them the lease 3 month before expiration with the original tires (43k miles), serious scratches on rims, and bunch of dings throughout.(pretty sure some chargeable if i were to return at lease end). the fact that the car was smoked in for 3 years, not even mentioned by them. the process was super nice - zero pressure from autonation guy, just friendly. AutoNation assured me its sale As Is so im not responsible for excess mileage or wear and tear. The final bill from BMWFS only had the disposition fee and it said i get it credited back if i go back to bmw in the next 6 months
