Having refreshed myself on OP’s earlier posts, agree. My guess is that it was written for the intended audience (Slick Deals obsessed who lease cars) and happened to land like marketing copy.
Looking back @Willow1308
My 2017 W205 Mercedes 4matic Coupe (AMG Sport Pkg) lease is up the end of May…it only has 23K miles…it’s still in new condition…
I leased my '17 Mercedes for 36 months /30,000 miles…the original MSRP was $50,850…retired service loaner…almost a 10K discount with 5,445 miles
And
@Willow1308 would greatly appreciate if you could breakdown:
what your payoff was
what actual offers you received were?
Thank you for sharing elsewhere @mattevan
this truck is now sold to a local JLR store for $62,500. Positive equity of $4,300 realized.
Net monthly cost for five months of driving: $220.00.
and thanks for this breakdown @ZZAutoDeals
ZZAutoDeals:
just for context, this is the lineup of offers I received on my 2019 440i GC from highest to lowest:
Vroom - $38,000
AutoNation - $36,000
CarMax - $34,400
CarTrackers - $33,500
GiveMeTheVIN - $33,000
Shift - $30,500
Carvana - $29,400
Sounds like the higher-end, lower volume, more unique pieces should at least consider AN for a quote if they are going to cross-shop.
Appreciate the tips - keep them coming.
