Snagged Tacoma SR Double-Cab 4x4 V6 for $88.97/month with $0 DAS (US Bank 24/10)

Hey in the salem and I’m interested in this deal. Let me know if you share dealer info, thanks.

In your experience, is there opportunity to use MSD’s w/ US Bank leases? I noticed you structure some of your deals with MSDs so was curious if that was a TFS thing only.

US Bank does not do MSDs, only TFS

Isn’t Toyota doing incentives for leases through TFS this month? I wonder if the deal works out better through TFS + MSDs. Read in another thread that comparatively, ending a lease with TFS is much better than US Bank as they don’t nickel & dime you.

Ending a lease with US Bank is not that bad. I know for the fact that they did for last month, but I am not sure for this month.

~5 years ago US Bank declined my father’s lease application, despite perfect credit and strong income, because he’d recently opened too many credit cards for their liking (I might have suggested he dabble in churning :stuck_out_tongue: ) .

They reversed their decision when the finance person at the dealership called and informed them that my father owned the dealership from which he was trying to lease the car.

So owning a dealership makes you less likely to default on debt? I know someone who owned casinos and filed 6 bankruptcies!

No, it makes you more likely to decide whose paper gets used to finance customers.

This is the part that makes someone less likely to default on debt:

Congrats, it’s 7:30 est, and I have already laughed in the face of a global recession and of course something much worse, my daily school work. I applaud you good sir!

I’ve had usbank decline many people with well over 700 credit for various reasons. They are very strict. I’m surprised they’re loosening up and allowing us to ship their leases now, before covid all leases had to be signed in person at the dealership.

Ally on the other hand will lease to anyone with a pulse if you pay the extra costs of the tier they put you in.

I’ve had GMF deny me for a lease transfer. Credit was 840. It was a 280 dollar payment on a Bolt. I did buy a house just prior to that.

What’s your point detective? I still get them approved

Any news on when Wolf will approve online sales?

Hoping to find out today. The dealer seemed optimistic about it happening this week. They had a conference call about it last week. We shall see. Amazing that NJ is allowed to do something that PA isn’t

Can you PM the details … I am in Seattle.

Other than have bumper to bumper traffic, idiot New Yorkers running around spreading Covid 19 (sarcasm), reckless drivers, housewives of New Jersey, increased insurance rates, and proximity to the biggest hotspots? I’ll take my cheap insurance and drama via real life, tyvm.

Everything has been discussed multiple times here, including rates and residuals posted. I don’t think this needs anymore discussion. This deal smokes any TFS deal(specially the SR model) I’m closing this thread unless someone has a good reason to keep it open.
