Snagged Tacoma SR Double-Cab 4x4 V6 for $88.97/month with $0 DAS (US Bank 24/10)

Firstly, I just want to give credit to @kcmo123. I would never have been able to get this deal without seeing his post.

I wasn’t even looking for a pickup, but the deals posted just kept getting better and better. Every month I’d see @Jrouleau426 postings, but shipping would more or less kill the deal for me. Then I saw @kcmo123’s purchase, which is much closer to home (Chicago suburbs) and I decided to see if I could replicate here. No one could get anywhere close.

(Edited post. Dealer is currently closed until further notice due to COVID-19. I reached out to the dealer and while they are very appreciative of positive reviews they told me that “all Tacoma’s are not priced the same”. I wouldn’t count on being able to replicate this deal with them even when they do open back up… Feel free to use the contract, added further down the post, as a bargaining tool at your dealership)

I’m not even a truck guy. I’m coming from a 2017 Civic Hatchback, which I love. Maybe it’s that my dad drove a Tacoma pickup for most of my childhood. Maybe it has something to do with being the truck that Marty McFly pined for and finally got (Yes, I got it in black). Maybe it was just too good of a deal to pass up. Either way, I couldn’t be happier with it.

Before going into details of the deal I’d like to preface that the calculator isn’t exactly in line with my contract, but I had no first month payment so net is actually just under $86/month.

Wow. Just wow.

That dealership about to get flooded with requests…

Screaming deal on Toyotas! At least they are moving the covid metal! That’s an even better deal than a bolt in NJ and you don’t have to even wait for rebate shenanigans.

Incredible! Nice hack OP! I know not everyone likes the % / month metric, but no one can ever say that a 0.26% deal is not absolutely fantastic.

How did you get the MF and RV for USbank

Thanks for all the responses.

I edited the post because I didn’t want to the dealership to get inundated with calls since they are not open. I’m waiting on them to see if they want me to share contact info.

Thanks.

Sale price with incentive is less than the residual. Won’t that be a problem for the bank? I think there were some posts about that recently. I could be wrong.

Anytime we have tried to do deals with usbank like this they have been rejected. Their minimum finance line is $2500. And that is after rebates and interest. We would gladly sell ours for less but the bank doesn’t allow it. So I’m not sure what’s going on with these 2 deals in Kansas City…

Can you post the contract so I can see if this dealer is doing something different? I’d love to offer these deals but cant

Nice! Glad I could help. You got the black one I would have taken, but they only had red at the time when I got mine :grinning:

I’d even be willing to roll the dice with US Bank on a payment this cheap

I THINK your calculator should look like this. I moved the incentive to taxed, changed it to first month at signing (that’s what the contract shows, even if it didn’t come out of your pocket), and 23 remaining payments.

You will spend more on gas than on the lease payments.

I… must… resist!

Great deal ! From what a Toyota dealership told me today one can not qualify for the $1500 incentive if financing through US Bank anymore. I was told by the dealership that in order to get the $1500 incentive one would need to finance through Toyota financial. I tried to confirm that directly with US Bank but they could not give me a definitive answer.

They only deal with SETF here in Florida

Even for $100, I’d feel the need to grab one just for the hell of it. BUT … already way too many cars in my driveway not being driven right now.
