Nice job!
So the numbers are the same for February?
Double check that $595 SFS acquisition fee. SFS had a special last month for $270
Are those dealer accessories residualized, as it may lower the difference between net cap cost and residual in the end
I asked them to double check if the special acquisition fee $270, no response yet, but Edmund’s forums, they states it’s $595 this month, not sure
“ dealer accessories residualized” what does that mean? Adds to the selling price?
Net cap is $19161
Residual $18070.35
Like $1090 difference
Should be fine right?
Added to MSRP and cap cost, adding that to MSRP then increases residual value, or just added to cap cost if not residualized - increasing cap cost without increasing the residual at all.
Where is the 27 month coming from is this what the dealer offered or did you get this from some specific place?
Its a specific term presented by the leasor. Which means they’ll move the residual and change it to be more beneficial over something like a 24 or 36 traditional term.
From my time in the industry I know JLR/Chase, BMWFS, and Porsche all push 39m terms, but this (27m) is more a SFS thing that Ive seen.
Well technically the etching was the dealer taking material off
Dealer won’t remove etch, so I passed on it
Love this deal!
It gives a lot of insight to someone who is completely new to leasing (not car buying). One newbie question I have that I haven’t seen discussed yet… When you email and negotiate discount off MSRP and get to a number you like do you then bring up the fact you want to lease? Or do you bring that up prior to negotiating MSRP. My gut is you bring it up after, but wanted to check how that plays out in general.
I don’t think it makes any difference, just get them to agree to your selling price before rebates. Lease or purchase, it’s going to the same deal. There are dealers that just advertise the selling price, makes it even better
Was wondering, does jeep tdm code work on fiat?
No. Search the forum for “how to negotiate.”
Most of the time that advertised price includes all purchase rebates and the actual selling price is much higher.
That’s when you have to set them straight and tell them it’s, before rebates:)
Looks like I beat the original poster’s deal by a small margin. Will post details and picks after I pick it up in the next couple of days.
Wait- I think that there is a $1000 Fiat coupon? I could be wrong. Like the Dodge/Chrysler site or True Car coupons?
I got a 750 in my email, but not a $1000
How did you get that coupon rebate?
Got most of the stellantis brands private email offers except Fiat:(. Does other stellantis brands work with Fiat?
I know it’s a stupid question lol
I had a Fiat 500e previously.
Just picked up my 500e. Only got $5595 off MSRP. Same MF and residual and term. Total cost with taxes and fees were $4800. Even for 27 months, this was a steal. I think invoice is 3k-ish. I just couldn’t get to 7-8k off after speaking to 5 dealers.
I “brow beat” my dealer into giving me a L1 charger. Drove back from Morgantown to Pittsburgh.
I don’t know why, but this car just makes me chuckle and smile. It’s literally an Italian meatball.
