I hear you. And I guess it’s a valid issue. But realistically how often does that happen? Running a business based on the worst what ifs isn’t the best approach, IMHO. You save the potential $5K loss once a year and give up $50k in gain by refusing to lease out of state.
Doesn’t seem like a good way to approach things.
How did you come up with all the numbers for this I have been trying to figure it out but been having trouble.
How do you get directly to the GM of the dealership? I usually find the car I like and fill out the form to contact dealership about it but only give email and not phone number. Then basically tell them what I’m looking for and that I’m contacting several dealers in and out of state. Most AZ dealers don’t give very good discounts, so I’ve had to go out of state for the last 3 car purchases I’ve made.
If you check the “meet our dealership” section of the website sometimes there will be a list of employees, including sales managers and GMs. Email is sometimes given sometimes isn’t.
Also if you or your employer has access to something like Hubspot or RingLead, all that info is easily findable.
