SIGNED: Acura ZDX A-Spec AWD 24/10k, 0 DAS, $379.XX/mo

Reach out and get some numbers first.

I visited Cerritos, since I work right up the street. Was willing to make a deal, not looking for absolute bottom numbers, and for just a RWD even possibly.
They brought in the lead sales guy/ manager or whatever. MF comes out with $560is per month with $3 or $5k down- name starts with Ak… don’t even waste your time talking to this fool. I brought up Leasehackr deals that had been signed and this dude had all the excuses about how these numbers were misleading, like they had a trade-in, etc.

After my original crappy experience at Cerritos, I messaged several dealerships with a one-pay deal from this forum that I would like to get a comparable deal. Tustin internet manager came back with satisfactory numbers right off the bat- $8800 all-in one-pay; unfortunately, we test drove a couple of cars and there was some weird vibration, almost like tire noise, but too much for my wife to handle.

Ended up back at Cerritos dealership cuz sales guy was cool, and followed up. Would have liked a gray one, but I was offered a particular vehicle- pearl white with white interior- that they could make decent numbers happen on. OK, NP, color not a deal killer. Test drove it and no issues. So drove it home yesterday.

Can’t tell you all of the discounts, but it seemed to effectively be $28k off MSRP. Could post sales contract if anyone needs in a bit…

These two dealerships have 40-50ish in stock, so perhaps they will be willing to deal further soon.

Anyhow, I am sure you could work for even lower; for me, I wanted very little work and a decent effective payment. I felt like the , $380 per month was good enough on a $70k+ car, so signed.

$25850 in incentives on it for CA with conquest or loyalty, so you got about $2k-2500 off msrp.

Same in the northeast?

I leased my ZDX going in feeling almost naked. I had seen the $28k number for rebates but the LH calculator doesn’t reflect anything like that number of rebates. First time I can remember it being totally off. So actually proposing a deal was going to be more challenging.

I test drove the ZDX with an Acura salesman I had bought a car from previously. I threw out my one pay number based on LH deals here during the test drive, manager approved via text and I leased the car an hour later. Only bad part about the deal is my 21% effective tax rate.

Leo- you asked for sales contract, and was planning to get it to you. Seems like my wife was tidying up and put the contract God knows where- so will post if I can find it soon…

Tustin is the goat in SoCal. I had a bad service experience in Cerritos as well.

@phatsonate Hi I also live in Socal. Can you PM me the sales guy that you worked with?

Also was the deal just as good at Tustin, but you just didn’t like the particular car you drove?

Deciding between this and a Lucid air for the wife lol

Any luck on the contract?

Wife filed it away, but not in the right place :person_shrugging: Acura ZDX Contract.pdf (451.8 KB)

Your contract shows $2,055 DAS (Section B line 3). Did you mean zero down?

BTW, they saddled you with about $1,100 in add-ons that you should be able to cancel per CA law.

Yeah, it was definitely zero down, so don’t know what that is about.

And thanks for the tip; I knew there were the dealer add-ons, but I wasn’t really caring too much.

Thank you!

FYI, heads up- My ZDX makes some sort of noise that my wife finds really bothersome, so much so that she doesn’t want to ride in my car. But it doesn’t really bother me too much.

I can’t quite pinpoint it, but may have to do with the AWD system. And I feel like tire or road noise is a bit extra compared to our Hyundai Ioniqs, which are really smooth and quiet. It seems like it might be more in sport mode.

I don’t recall the RWD having the same noise, but it was a quick test drive and I might just not have noticed.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice enough car for the cost; but in retrospect, I would have looked for something else b/c of the wife issue.

Not sure if you understand difference between down payment and DAS (due at signing)… Per your contract, you had to come up with about 2K out of pocket which is your DAS - did you not pay any? Any trade in with 2K equity?
