Signed! 2025 Cadillac Lyriq LUX1 Loaner| $63,590 MSRP | 24/10 | $267 + tax | $7,098 one pay (includes tax)

I apologize for not having a detailed breakdown, but I used this as my template and sent an email to all Cadillac Dealerships within ~100miles radius. Most of them said NO, except for 1. They reached out and said an incoming Loaner qualified and was readily available with the following terms:

Year, Make, Model, and Trim: 2025 Cadillac Lyriq LUX1 AWD CTA (4,062 miles)

MSRP: $63,590

Discounts: $9,012 (14.17%)

Selling Price: $54,578

Incentives on top: Supplier ($1,000), Costco exec ($1,250), Conquest ($2,000), GM Card ($500)

Effective Monthly Payment: $296 with 9.625% CA tax ($267 pretax)

Drive-Off Amount: $7,098 onepay

Months: 24

Annual Mileage: 10,000

Region: Bay Area (CA)

For any interested and want me to broker a connection, a dealer reached out with this option (at a high-level):

2026 Lux Sport (or Premium Sport) with max incentives for $10,xxx (one-pay with taxes), 24/10K miles.

Awesome sauce! Congrats! Glad my template helped.

Lesson here is cast a wide net, and something will eventually stick.

Thank you, your template made it simple and cut out a lot of the BS.

Sent PMs with contact info. FYI, my dealer and the one with the Sport versions are separate.

Thanks for sharing. Congrats on the new car and excellent deal. I’ve been looking for the same car in the Houston Texas area. Have had no luck. Everyone is quoting me much higher. Would you mind sharing the template. I wasn’t able to find it using the link you shared.

Responded to you directly.

I was just about to ask the same question! Would love to see the template you’re speaking of, trying to to do the same type deal.

It’s very basic and probably terse, but here’s the general context:

Hi <insert name/dealer>
I’m looking for one-pay lease options for a 2025 Cadillac Lyric, similar to below.

Year, Make, Model, and Trim: 2025 Cadillac Lyriq LUX1 AWD → CTA or Loaner is ok

MSRP: $68,710

Selling Price: $60,758 (11.6% discount)

Incentives on top: Supplier ($1,000), Costco exec ($1,250), Conquest ($2,000), GM Card ($500), GMF cash ($250) → whatever I qualify for

Effective Monthly Payment: $286 pretax

Drive-Off Amount: $7,278 onepay

Months: 24

Annual Mileage: 10,000

MF: 0.00166 (.00208 base driven down via onepay)

Residual: 78%

If your Sales Manager or GSM can match this offer, I can sign my lease.

I am new to leasing. Could you please help me understand where the MF and Residual numbers come from. I’d like to understand in case the dealership pushes back. Thank you.

Sign up as a super supporter and you can get this info from the Calculator Rate finder

I have been using AI to get the MF and RV and also generate the letter to send to the dealers via email

Any luck so far?

Yeah that is how I got my ioniq 9

Thanks for this. I got a bit more direct and started asking dealers for a specific one-pay price versus asking for a quote.

Was able to get a one pay at $6700 on a $63,590 lux 1 awd loaner. Dealership doesn’t have any more, so please don’t ping me. If you are looking for advice, just ask dealers for a $7k one-pay, or whatever your number is.

And that’s the reason we preach making offers instead of asking for quotes, congrats!

Be sure to pay it forward and share your deal in your own Signed Deals & Tips thread with the specifics - discount, tax, incentives, etc.

So far most dealers I’ve attempted with have laughed at me for suggesting at 10-12% off MSRP (even on a CTU). Is that a pretty standard reaction, that you get laughed at 20 times, and finally find the one that will do it?

Yes, but all it takes is 1 to say yes. We tend to make it sound like it’s easier than it is here.

LOL, well I figured it was much harder then it seemed, but also wanted to make sure the reception I was receiving was in fact normal.

Don’t suggest a discount and instead just ask for your one-pay price and the incentives you are entitled to. e.g., “I’m looking for a 24 month lease with a one-pay of $X. I qualify for X, Y, and Z incentives that total $X.”

Interesting! Can you tell us more about your process so we can look into following it as well? Thanks!
