Signed! 2025 Cadillac Lyriq LUX1 Loaner| $63,590 MSRP | 24/10 | $267 + tax | $7,098 one pay (includes tax)

start learning to use the LH calculator & build your own deal. It’s not that hard and definitely something which you may use it again & again if you’re leasing.

Yes. When I got my Lyriq in January 2025, I got laughed out of 97% of my emails. I was ignored, counteroffered back double/triple my offer, how the hell did you get those numbers, etc, etc. It takes time and persistence for any car you chase deals for. Expect to be laughed at.

This is an important insight, and this is a great thread.

I think a lot of people think negotiation will be easy and stress-free. That often isn’t the case.

Doing homework to learn the calculator and using it are really important for building the confidence to negotiate. I’m convinced that most salespeople don’t want to learn the details, and they just leave it to their sales manager.

Anyway, great thread!

hey Ann Arbor guy, Im in Ann Arbor Area too

How warranty works for Loners? This is EV , generally asking any difference?

Hopefully the term of the factory warranty is longer than the lease term + the time that has elapsed since the car was originally put into service. Similar with any kind of complimentary maintenance period.
