SIGNED - 2024 XC90 B6 Ultimate | MSRP $70,595 | $363 per month | $1865 DAS + $4000 MSD | 24/7.5k

Confirmed w/Edmunds that lease cash for Bay area is only $3.5K for '23s and a fat $0 for '24s

Won’t come close to replicating out here - best case scenario is:

  • '23 model
  • B6 Plus on 10 yr / 36K
  • If you have affinity and Costco should be able to bump incentives to $5K.

Targeting a $68K Plus configuration you’re still at a monthly of $680 w/drive-offs assuming you can get the dealer to give you 10% off (which… maybe possible given looks like a lot of inventory in Bay area and '24s are starting to roll in? but likely not straight-forward)

@AutoCompanion I am interested in the Volvo Ultimate but open to other makes/SUVs - need payment to be under $400. I filled out the form and mentioned hybrid interest as well but let me know what we can do. I am in California. I have Costco. Thank you!

I’m sorry, but under $400 won’t happen, and we don’t have time left in the month for California - sorry!

I am also waiting for your responce with similar situation, any suv (was thinking about cx90) but under $500 in New York. Thank you

This is a joke right? Or are you really that out of touch?

This is doable, just needs a big downpayment.

Out of touch, I’ve not leased/purchased a car since 2010. Getting in and figuring it all out in current climate.

@AutoCompanion can it be done under $500 in California with a down payment of a couple thousand?

We don’t serve CA. I am sorry.

Maybe try reviewing / reading the forum before throwing out asks like this. Or even just this thread for starters?

I posted a few comments up that this cannot be replicated in California / Bay area and based on the financials of our region you are looking at a best case scenario of $630 mo + taxes on a '23 Premium plus assuming you do the work to find a dealer offering >10% off before incentives. There is a linked calculator with the details.

It was also commented earlier that @AutoCompanion does not service California.

Use the calculator to see how much additional you need to put down to achieve $500 / month but cash down is not a recommended strategy from folks on this forum.

Spend some time looking through Shared Deals and the Marketplace to get an idea what’s possible. There is only 3 days left in the month and the current Costco discounts on Volvo, if you are trying to do something in July I strongly suggest you calibrate your expectations first then engage a broker or dealer from the Marketplace. If you aren’t trying to close a deal in July / aren’t set on a Volvo (since the programs might be as good as they will get this year), spend some time educating yourself and be prepared for the programs to change again on the 1st.

That’s a great deal! Congrats. Looks like the time of great Volvo deals is back!

I wonder if it’s dealer-specific or some program that is run by Volvo. Since you were able to use with @autocompanion, I assume it was just a Volvo incentive. I drive Volvos in US since 2014 and had one in Europe before, I wonder what it takes to get this email

Anyone in NorCal find a dealer willing to play ball? Or have any sales folks they’ve worked with in the past that are good?

New incentives for August are still relatively attractive but my initial experience is no one is ready to get close to 10% off msrp before incentives.
