I went there with them telling me they will be able to replicate this deal as they had three SE RWD’s in stock, then they switched up and said they want $6900 for a one pay even though we agreed before I came in it would be $4,696.44 so I just told them no thanks and left. They did offer to fill up my tank though for their mistake.
Seems like a reasonable amount. $4,696.44 is an unrealistic number.
I’m wondering how this SEL deal came to.
Anyone have luck w Sam at HB? He said he would do the same deal we got on the SEL @ $7198 including the $500 first responder. Assuming that’s $7700 without it.
That’s a hell of a deal congrats to you.
This is the reason I would like to see a category for Michigan only. This stuff doesn’t happen in Michigan. Ever.
if you read the thread, i said multiple times i can’t provide dealer info.
I got 2 other signed deals for a SEL one pay, both for $5752 on a $49,190 msrp.
not as good as mine at 4696 but not too shabby either
I will pay you $500 to broker an identical deal in northern california for me today
I leave that to the brokers but I wish you luck in your search
Curious to know - what’s your strategy in approaching a dealer for this type of quote? Did they happen to share with you this number right away or you have to convince them that these numbers are possible?
I have connections with this group since I sell and buy lots of cars from them and I always deal with the GM.
No particular strategy.
@mattin916 let me know if you find anything in NorCal, I am interested as well.
You are a magician… those numbers are unbelievably good.
Programs stayed the same for April so hopefully more deals to be had!
Sheesh.
Someone send me one of those SEL one pays my way
What a great deal
So did your deal actually fund? I got a call back from dealer to resign the contract because HMF wouldn’t do it the way it was written and my one pay structure looks similar to yours.
Nobody called me.
Interesting, does it mean they will rewrite the contract differently still meeting the same number or it will be a higher number? I suppose it was not going to negative depreciation for SEL contracts unlike what OP had for SE.
