today i call a dealer asking for a lease deal… i said i was expecting to pay 1k5-2k with 5k rebate for a 43k msrp… they laugh at me and hang up… and this guy just did it with a 49k MSRP
I had the same thing happend to me, Lol dont give up. I ended up calling 15 dealers and the 16th one being the one willing to. Its part of the game of lease hacking; those who do their homework / research will be rewarded.
Ill give you some tips;
This month is the best month to buy an equinox ev since the dealers have an incentive to push them out;
Dealers that are meeting high quota will be more willing to discount;
Small time dealers that have high inventory and are not hitting quota will not be able to replicate this deal.
Right now your best bet is Buena Park Chevrolet or Long Beach.
Because the dealer I purchased this from no longer has any in inventory
Yea i was at Rotolo loooking at this exact unit. Rotolo is truly the best, I just didnt want a AWD. I have not check Buena Park yet but Long beach(harbor) seem to be down to play ball with the 5k discount; but when i contact them for the qoute, they somehow work the number, it come back to 3150 with 4500 rebate on a 43xxx msrp.
The way they work the number is super weird for some reason there.
I love the Socal Chevy website, their filter show exactly how many of each model/trim each dealer has, I have been using it to find dealers with a lot on their hand
I got mine from Tricia @Premier Buena Park yesterday. One Pay $3000.31
Previous customer, so no BS here, only few text messages, and done.
MSRP: $43460
Just wanna say that even after they laugh at me, I keep calling and finally found a dealer who doesn’t play game. You were 100% correct, the one with low inventory are usually the people who’s down to play ball.
Got my 43k msrp eqEv at $1556 OTP with 5k rebate.
Thanks for your help
