He is not combining Costco rebate.I requested to add that and offered 650. I was willing to do 10 MSDS but they are not intrested and said Audi stopped doing that
I’m assuming your rebates were Federal EV (7.5k) and customer cash (5k). That brings you to your rebate worksheet total of $12.5k.
Getting a 14% MSRP discount like you did is pretty competitive from what I’m seeing from other LH. Seems like your MF is juiced a little (probably not much). They probably didn’t budge when you countered at 650 because you were already getting a solid discount of 12% + Costco (1.5k) or roughly 14%.
To each their own - seems like an offer in line with this months best MSRP discounts.
that car sitting at dealer lot for more than 140 days. q8 is hard sell for that msrp and they keep increasing incentives. I am not in rush to lease car now so i was firm on my offer and didnt budge to increase any more. Dealer also firm on his offer so he didnt budge.
The above is very much outside the norm, especially for a walkin offer and the GSM was right to bow out of further engagement.
BTW, they goofed on the reg because that’s supposed to be closer to $600 with the new BEV rip ($200/yr) written into law. I’d take that offer as written if you’re serious about buying before Central figures that out and writes it in.
i have Audi friends and family discount 10% off MSRP and rebates. dealer gave extra 1200$ off. First they agreed the offer close to my number over messages so i went to dealership. there he showed its only for 7500 miles. i was not happy and said we discussed 10k miles.so i was firm on my offer and didnt budge.
That explains how you escaped Permaplate and their infamous “dealer services” charge.
Anyhow, my professional opinion is that this deal is stellar but if you want to spend another week, month or two out of your life to save a Starbucks weekly drink’s equivalent monthly that’s up to you and your opportunity cost analysis.
Audi lender tax credits are limited in number monthly so they may not even be able to offer the same end of month.
yeah true. when i first started looking for offers in April it was 1200$ now came down to 700$. i am in no rush and i have bad habit3 once i decide my price no matter what i wont budge to pay more even single penny. i will look for other car. its fun to lease cars. this is my 14 th lease car in last 17 years.
You should work on the part where you decide what a good price is then, seems like you might be a little bit off.
Also, congrats on getting yourself noted in the CRM of every Audi dealer in your region as someone not to work with most likely, and with no car to show for it. You really should have taken that deal.
Well its not my loss. Market has changed now. I am not worry too much if they dont want to sell car. There are another 100 cars out there. End of the day its business and there is no need to take it wrong if deal didnt work through. Cheers
